Holy sh!t, talk about your money's worth. These guys are doing all of this in less than a year. Why couldn't Bungie work this hard?

17 Repliesi might pick up halo 5 soon. is it worth $60?
-
I don't understand why people are comparing Halo 5 to Bungie Halos. That Bungie is dead. Adios. RIP. Bungie is currently capable of making Destiny.
Not insulting Destiny, but most of you seem to hate it so I figured I'd draw the comparison.
Edited by IamAngryCoffee: 2/27/2016 4:12:02 PMI think 343i is doing a good job with halo, I've played every single halo game since the original Xbox and they have been continually improving.
-
2 RepliesYea cause they know how bad the game is lol
-
7 RepliesMost of this stuff should have already been in the game.
-
3 RepliesWow, they're going to eventually finish Halo 5. Good for them.
-
Shame they don't also give us the other half of the campaign!
-
Yup, I sure as hell am glad I bought it.
-
WOOOOOH REACH ARMOUR!!!!! WOOOOOH FIREFIGHT!!!!!
-
Hell yeah!

3 RepliesBungie DID work that hard. The difference is they put all that content in the game and then released it. They didn't cut it out and then feed it back to you in small parts expecting you to be happy with it. Sadly it works. I'm an "older" gamer. I remember a time before DLC when releasing a shit game caused massive backlash and the great gaming crash of the 80's. When people wouldn't swallow bullshit. I was there. Now i'm here, where people not only swallow bullshit but beg for seconds.

Memories of reach(hopefully) will be cool.

4 RepliesEdited by Auttumnnnn: 2/25/2016 11:36:59 PMThere are two kinds of people: Those who are happy with what they have, but would still enjoy more. And those who are unhappy with what they have and expect more. One of the two is likable, while the other is insufferable.
I'm hoping to see Infection with the Meridian DLC, the Falcon and Grenade Launcher with the Reach DLC, and Race with the Hog Wild DLC.
19 RepliesBecause when Bungie made Halo, all these "dlcs" were actual launch content. Hooray for praising a company for taking content away and bringing it back months later with fireworks and fanfare?
-
22 RepliesEdited by Knight Raime: 2/26/2016 5:10:24 AMNeither company was perfect when it came to halo. I see them as opposite sides of a coin at least for halo. Bungie was more cautious. But both companies had controversies over their games. And both have made their mark in the franchise. Bungie is known for creating the addicting gameplay in halo 3. 343 is known for creating the best campaign to date for halo. (Halo 4) Both suck pretty hard when it came to communication with their community. But at the end of the day the whole series is a work of art. And 343 is living up to the halo brand in my eyes. For those that say "that stuff could have been there at launch." Or "the stuff is just free because 343 knows they -blam!-ed up." Stop looking for reasons to dislike the game. We're all aware you don't. Sure 343 could have tacked on 4's forge. Sure they could have just added the base variants into the game. But 343 wanted to improve upon the stuff. I'd much rather wait for infection to be added and be able to make all of my crazy ideas then just having plain old infection. War zone firefight sounds insane. The possibility of being able to have bosses and the req weapons in this is cool as hell. And because forge was delayed we got the best forge to date. Have people seriously seen some of the stuff people have been making? It's unreal. A fully accurate remake of halo 2's terminal with a working train. Like...you couldn't do that in any past forge. Anyway 343 isn't perfect. Halo 4 had some questionable design decisions in multiplayer. Master chief collection wasn't even playable fore the first 6 months (IMO it's a respectable game now tho and has been for awhile) an halo 5 has a few quirky things to it. But there is so much right with halo 5 that I just can't be bothered. The support its getting is just fantastic. EDIT: To give a better description of what I meant in the beginning. For me saying halo 4 had the best campaign I was strictly referring to plot, expansion into the universe as a whole, character development, and execution. The actual gameplay of the campaign was sub par for many reasons. And by "addicting gameplay in halo 3" I was referring to halo 3's campaign level design wise. I would say halo 3 is the most well known and iconic halo game to date. Which is why I said "bungie is known for..." I apologize for the confusion.

9 RepliesAnybody think they'll bring in some developer made BTB maps? The arena maps are cool and all but I'd like to actually play something other than a forge map for BTB.
