Ok. So before religion existed how did people make babies? Did we just hug and suddenly you get pregnant? Did a pelican carry a baby from space and drop it off. They made babies through SEX. Yep. They shagged. But they weren't married. What about other animals? To my knowledge, tortoises don't have their own marriage system. So how do they make babies? Yep, they have SEX I don't get why you're against it. Sex is very enjoyable thing to do (from my experience), especially when you've just passed the required age. Your love life doesn't usually complicate things, when in marriage you just have sex.
