How did you go 300+?
I'm currently trying to top 300 so as to seem like a viable teammate for KF. I'm sitting at 295 ATM and think the next best step for me is to start doing the Nightfall and hoping for an upgrade, yet I see a a lot of "LFM for Nightfall, 300+", so it begs to question can you get to 300+ without running the Nightfall? How did you do it?

I was at 298 for months, doing mostly PVE. I played to Level 5 in IB in December and got to 306 in one weekend.

I do lfg on nf and never ask for 300+. Not needed at all

Only pvp iron banner and a little bit of trials

Run the normal raid to get some 300+ gear. You can just get into groups on lfg & just run the sections you want. It isn't hard at all to get into groups for whatever........and of course, you can always make your own lfg post for nightfall, or anything else.

Trials bounties is the best way to get 290+ guns sometime even a 300

Grind iron banner this week, run the raids and do trials bounties.

At 295 your best option is to do the raid. While it may seem that every group is looking for 300+ I know from experience that a 295 wouldn't get turned away. Or start your own raid group.

Get a decent group to take you through normal KF even if it's just up to Oryx. There's no reason they couldn't get through it with you. You'll be on your way to 310 in no time.

Kings fall normal isn't bad 290+ in my opinion. Though I doubt many people do normal anymore and those that do will ask for 310. Lol

Do iron banner and hope that you get lucky, got me from 300 up to 312 or 13.

I did raids and nightfall with friends as soon as taken king came out at like 260 light it was tough but what I'm saying is okay with friends

Grind, grind, grind & luck... That's what helped me!! Struck lucky in the SRL. Didn't win a race but got some nice drops & I think I got lucky with 3oC drops. Haven't been near a nightfall or raids. Make sure when you turn bounties in your at your max level. Do the Iron Banner as well. Good luck mate.

I played iron banner which boosted me up to 300, after that it was purely luck with exotics. Getting 310 stuff and infusing gear with it.

Lucky rare and legendary drops from strikes and the cryptarch, straight pve earned gear atm, im at 305 if I equip my twilight garrison
