What's the point in playing IronBanner?
Struggling here guys. I have the guns and all the armour. I normally do it but since the rank packages give you crap light level gear I'm trying to figure out why I'm gonna play this one.

not really sure. 2 IB ago all i got was boots on all 3 characters from rank 5 packages (310, 312, 314) i was 315. last iron banner i got 311 machine gun, 312 gauntlets, 317 hand cannon. so out of 6 rank 5 packages - 1 semi decent reward. i will struggle through this one. if rewards are as crap again.....this will be my last.

Every iron banner year 2 I've gotten at least 1 315+ weapon or armor from one of my rank 5 packages. First y2 ib - 317 & 319 scouts Second - 318 sidearm Last ib - 315 helm. So unless you are already rocking a 318 overall. The light levels from the rank 5 packages are not garbage. The regular drops during matches...yeah usually are garbage light levels. But it's usually worth it to get to rank 5. Especially since you only have to grind it on 1 character. Once you have 1 rank 5 toon you can go from 0-5 in about 2-3 hours on Saturdays and sundays on alts.
