Bring back elemental primaries!

3 RepliesIf they really want to keep elemental primarys out if the game just simply give us a solar hand cannon and a void scout (both exotic) so then for elemental damage you sacrifice the exotic slot. Simple.

1 ReplyThis is a failed experiment they should just bring them back. I think the current raid weapons were originally designed to be elemental because they are so lackluster otherwise. If I got an elemental anguish of drystan I may think twice before infusing it into something else. #addnotremove #buffnotnerf

35 RepliesElemental infusion is the answer to this. Make any gun you want any element. But you need to earn those elements through end game content. Nightfalls, raids (all of the raids lol), trials, iron banana... It increases grind by going hunting for them (making Bungie happy that you're playing longer) and it makes it fun for the player. This, is a win win.

No air, water, earth, etc. It doesn't even have to affect the guardians. It's hard to imagine such a futuristic setting having only 3 elements. I would also like to see actual element negation. Not Wind on wind, but water on fire, etc. Like, why doesn't our light tear the void a new one lol.

3 RepliesNo dont do that, and even if they did what will be the outcome they arnt going to change the nightfalls to involve burns, the shielded enemies will get stronger to compensate for the elemental damage So what will be the real gain then, an elemental primary to shut you guys the hell up? I am a beta and Y1 vet. who enjoys the different combinations of guns and not bound to one cuz of its elemental damage. [spoiler]Also they never left, go into TDB or VoG yo get more [/spoiler]

How does this *positively affect PVP or *add to PVP in any way? If it doesnt do either of those points, then bungie won't go for it.

I haven't raised since ttk because there's no reason to without elemental primaries. Once I got zhalo I walked away from wanting any kind of drop. I just grind for no reason now. Never raids though. I forgot about my old raid buddy's and just stopped talking to anyone. All because of elemental primaries being gone.

Indeed. Having elemental primaries drop in raids is 1 of 5 things that needs to happen for me to consider buying the next expansion.
