I had by going into a corner in VoG and dismantling my no backup plans. Drew them like moths to a flame. Heh.
This is kinda stupid, but when using the app, I thought that when one bar was red, then the gun was worse than when it was, kind of deteriorated
I also meelee killed anything possible, because I didn't want to run out of ammo
Even now I donate all of my motes of light to dead orbit
Edit: 500 replies! Keep running towards your engrams and dismantling your gallies!

Dismantled all engrams (yes, even legendaries) because I thought that they were unlucky drops. Like either I'd get a legendary (decrypted) or a legendary engram. I thought the engrams just meant that I couldn't use them. Also thought that I could have all Exotics equipped. And didn't realize ToO wasn't matchmaking. Oh yeah and one more. Thought Machine Guns were primaries.

I'd just go screw around in there, against enemies that 1-shot me, desperately trying to do Lord-knows-what for these random dudes I saw. I may have even been helping the guys who would go on to make world-firsts, for all I truly knew about it. It certainly would be my luck, honestly, to flail my arms at a challenge like my arms were overly enthusiastic, wet noodles while people who were going to go down in history looked at some Lv23 Warlock spinning Invective at Praetorians he couldn't even damage.

Kept shooting those public event Devil Walkers in their big bright red/orange heads, because up until you run into the Vex, that's where the critical hit box is, in the head. "holy crap this thing's a bullet sponge, I've been shooting it in the head non-stop..."

2 RepliesOne time in iron banner I crept up behind someone hard scoping a sniper, missed with a shotgun, he jumped up and we did a dance of the tards trying to melee each other. I missed 4 shotgun shots and got one punch in out of 5, then died. [spoiler]it was yesterday[/spoiler]

Well in Year 1 if you Did a nightfall you would get those flames around your Head i spend multiple hours Trying to search for a helmet that would do that only to find out if you complete nightfall you would get it XD
