[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/192373140/0/0]Earlier this week[/url], we announced the deployment of new matchmaking settings intended to reduce lag and set you against opponents with a good connection. Feedback on performance has been positive, so we are continuing to make improvements. This is fine tuning. If you enjoyed the new settings we deployed on Wednesday, it's likely you'll still have a good time.
Testing of new settings will continue throughout this weekend in [b]Control[/b]. Get in there and sample the level of competition, as well as the gameplay quality. Be sure to tell us what you think. Even if all you do is play, the data you're feeding us is golden.
Our goals are still to provide some good, clean, stable fun that can be enjoyed by players at every skill level - even if they play on the same team. It's a delicate balance to strike. Thanks for your continued participation in the process.

3 RepliesI still get matched with people living in the US on a game basis, I live in france. That's when you know something is wrong. Don't tell me I can't always be matched with people living in Europe every time.

4 RepliesYou gave lag switchers complete control of the game. I'm sure there is 1 intelligent person working at Bungie giving out all the best solutions but your "team" is really phobic about making a game that they wouldn't be able to beat against Destiny 2.

is it possible to matchmake according to K/D and teams of three or more according to average K/D?

Another possible solution. Design the game to punish people with bad connections rather than reward them. In Battlefront people with bad connections stand still until their connection is good again. So they get killed a lot, simple.

You're still not listening to the community with all this fine-tuning talk. People keep saying over and over do the same thing black ops 3 did. Prioritize ping and nothing else

Trials is impossible at higher wins in Australia. We get matched with the biggest red barring try hards from who knows where. Honestly we cannot beat the lag. We have the best connections here and why there isnt zoning for servers like all good games is beyond me. We love everything about this game apart from the lag. Im not getting Destiny 2 unless there are dedicated servers. I cant stand the frustration. I appreciate the player base is reducing so to get a game someone could be located on the moon compared to you. Please fix this

I saw bungie down at the local hardware store stocking up on green paint. So many red bars need to be painted green. Just when you thought unkillable teleporting red bar god's were just too awesome we now have unkillable teleporting green bar god's. Nice work. Lmao

2 RepliesSick of lag and cheaters. Thats like all my friends and I got matched against in trials. Sbmm is annoying matches are nothing but sweaties. I'm not raging, I have a good kd but I miss being able to play with different loadouts. Tired of having to use last word or mida every match to be able to compete. Crucible is pretty boring now cause all you see are sweat loadouts. This game seems to get worse with every update. Pretty much everything was better in year 1.

Also damage referee must be a myth because red bars seem even harder to kill then green bars, but whaddya know! When I'm a red bar I get two shotted by hand cannons and scout rifles, get the PVP consistency back to the way it was in year 1

Still experiencing laggy players. Also when I'm green bar going against a red bar, your "damage referee" seems to be punishing me more. The day your changes happened, everything seemed great. Since then they've gotten worse than before you changed anything at all. Also why in control has my ELO dropped like a rock this month? I was Diamond 2 and now down to Rusted 3.

Playing normal crucible is getting worse. Getting the same people back to back. Red Internet still allowed in lobbies. The price I pay for Internet is not equal to the product im getting in return from server status. Nothing's more fun than going on raging kill sprees but nothing is more irritating that tactically getting the upper hand on an opponent and still.....fail because of a fluke weather that be "lag" and my screen isn't showing precise time of what's actually happening or just glitching randomness. Damage calculation pauses while a member is using his/her super which gives them a few milliseconds they need for a one hit kill (ex: I've hit players with shadow shot head on and they didn't die and then they still had the super long enough to one hit KO me. Double standards much?) and its frequent enough to be out of order but not enough to be normal). Also for how long blade runner last and the hight you can reach by button mashing makes it damn near impossible to dodge let alone damage enough to take them out fast enough. All that is fine but for jeebus sakes they should have to actually aim "on" target and not spam the att button like its mortal kombat. It's pretty lame. I'm competitive and play to compete and this problem that many more than myself are having have been problems for awhile now. That being said I'm also getting kicked from servers because of connection problems. When my connection is fine specially after holiday break.

I'm sorry guys but you broke the crucible completely and enabled all the laggy players. It was getting better for a bit and then just spiraled downwards.

1 ReplyI made a post earlier stating that crucible was a mess. Got hate for it. I'm glad I came to this one where there are real people who know what I'm talking about. Crucible is so messed up right now. Just scroll down through the comments and I agree with what everyone is saying about lag and hit registration.
