i got completeley banned from crucible because i cant afford the top notch internet this needs to be fixed

Honestly though I hate how people will come into here and just be like why don't you get off your broke ass and get a job blah blah blah. These people do not understand that for a lot of players money is not the issue. I know I cant speak for you but I have friends with bad internet and they have plenty of money they would be willing to spend in order to upgrade but due to where they live the option to upgrade is not available. This is why SBMM need to be 100% removed from the game. Look at just about every other game that has tried SBMM, almost all of them removed it with in at least a few day because it is broken and caused connection issue's for a lot of players. The day SBMM is completely removed and the game goes back to 100% connection based again you will start seeing more lobbies with less lag. For Destiny 2 though I really hope they invest into dedicated servers.

So as far as your ban goes, you earned your ban for messing up the crucible experience for the other 11 or 5 guardians playing with you in a match. It is what it is, so either go and play raids or weekly or story mode or play a different pvp game. I'm tired of playing lag fest after lag fest in the crucible because people like you can't or won't pay for decent internet speed. So sorry because I know it's bungie's fault, but I hope you are right and your ban is permanent

I feel for you. My best mate lives in the middle of no where and can't get a stable connection, gets booted offline most of the time. I wish it was as simple as getting a better connection but some people just can't!

11 RepliesAll of these comments that say 'get better internet' it's really not that easy. The global average connection speed is 5.1. The high speeds that some of you get will be classed as the minority. For the average to be that low there must be huge swathes of the world with very poor infrastructure. The idea that you shouldn't be playing online because you're spoiling others experiences is a nonsense. In reality, in the grand scheme of things those of us with great connections simply need to suck it up sometimes and play on. There's not always a solution to the problem. It's not always in their control. If you think large parts of the world should simply stop playing so you have a better experience (and K/D) then you really need to look at yourselves.

13 RepliesDude..... Fast Internet is not expensive. Maybe a wired connection would be better. Or turn off wifi on your router. Move the router to the main socket of the house. (the first socket the outside line goes to). Reboot the router more often.
