Be honest with yourself. Physical shape, social life, studying, esc are the factors to consider.

3 RepliesIf i didnt have video games, im sure something worse would take its place
-
No, all I'd do is party and smoke if I didn't have games.
-
Yes that's why I decided to switch back to being a casual a week ago.
-
I took about 3 months off from destiny and Xbox all together. It was definitely for the better.
-
Says a lot about the kind of people on this board.
-
No, they help me
-
It would probably depend on what people use the time for.
-
No because I like it. Clears my mind. Even if it is just an hour a day, sometimes.
-
of course, unless gaming is your job there's no way it wouldn't
-
Nope. I work full time, am in my senior year of college, am a cub scout leader, family, house and church obligations. Completed a half marathon last year. Video games are my own time on Friday and Saturday nights from 11pm to 4am when I can sit by myself, play with some friends and drink an overpriced beer from a local brewery

There is a word called balance
-
5 RepliesWhats real life? It must be a primary, Ive never heard of it.
-
2 RepliesI would end up killing someone if I didn't have games to use as a stress reliever.
-
Edited by The New Monarch: 2/19/2016 1:02:09 AMI don't play enough for it to effect those things Wish I could though....lol
-
No. Not at all, honestly. Then I'd be sitting around doing literally nothing outside of school and work.

3 RepliesEdited by BeefMittin: 2/18/2016 11:00:11 PMI'm already a top notch swimmer and I'm number 10 in the state of Illinois for pistol shooting. I've got three part time jobs and I still play video games. Pretty good for a 15 year old. It also let's me meet more people that love the same games that I do. I get my shit done first them I game.

Edited by Spartan 872: 2/19/2016 1:03:35 AMWell it the easiest way for me to do stuff with my friends since not all of them live close to me. Also procrastination is procrastination. Anything in the past I neglected due to video games would have been neglected either way. Reading, watching tv, building Magic decks, I would have found a way.
-
Edited by Insatiable: 2/18/2016 10:53:46 PMNope because I'm already a top player on college club tennis team and lift too , 3.5 GPA engineering student with leadership :)
-
HOW MANY GJALLARHORNS DO YOU HAVE NOW?
-
2 RepliesPeople spend their lives how they want to. If I want to play a lot of video games, then that is my choice. It is my life. It all doesn't really matter in the end though because do you really think anyone is going to care about how you spent your life 100 years from now? No. Live and let live.

Up at 5:30 even at weekend so there ain't a lot to do for 3 hours or so at weekends - could do a lot of stuff in those 3 hours a day (do a degree, do post grad, do a professional qualification, learn Visual Basic, become a 2nd degree instructor in Kung fu) hmmmm done all that - I just wanna play games and relax until the other half kicks me off the Xbox.
