Why isn't any one talking about the Vex Mythoclast?
The Vex Mythoclast is the best exotic in Destiny. It has such a unique design and is just so bad ass. Those of you who beat Atheon back in the day and were grinding for 30 can attest to the greatness of the Vex. It was the first exotic that actually felt exotic to me. It was a monster in the crucible. And the fact that it came from the raid and was just a fusion rifle primary and sounded so amazing when it shoots made it THE loot drop to grind for. Just damn. Those were the days, before Gjallarhorn became a crutch. Before Blackhammer.
It's a shame that Bungie has just thrown this gem of weapon creation, the weapon that embodies everything of what it means to be an original Destiny player, is just thrown to the wayside to rot in everyone's Vault. It has been broken for months and probably will never be fixed. Its history is even more confusing. It is 100% the best raid exotic (let's not even talk about Nechrocasm now). Whether you pushed Atheon off or actually beat him legit and you got the Vex drop, it was arguably the best part of Destiny. I remember my first drop for Atheon was Vex, Helmet, Vision of Confluence. But all I cared about was the Mythoclast.

In the beginning of year one, yes. With fusions being nerfed to the ground it's barely usable. Most take it out for a laugh but it used to cause much salt on the forums. Community demanded it get nerfed and thus began the trend of nerfing anything that kills anyone in crucible

I can remember very early on running Sepiks strike with this dude who had vex (I didn't know that this gun existed).Entered the first room 'there's fallen and hive' I was just behind this guy and went to shoot one of the dregs and didn't even get a shot off. The enemies in the room just got melted. I was thinking 'what hell was that?' Asked a couple of mates later on about what was this weird looking gun that the dude was using and was told about this new gun that you can only get from the hard raid. I though that I would never ever get to own one or be one of those 'God ' players who were level 30.
