New Moderation Notifications
In the past it has been difficult to find out why you were banned and for how long. That made it hard to know what you were doing wrong, until now. Based on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/185963260/0/0]your feedback[/url], we have updated the site to send you notifications. That will include a link to the offending content as well as information for how long the ban will last. As of right now this only works on desktop. We are still working on better mobile notifications.
Our Ninjas have been given much better tools to help keep this place clean. You can do your part by reporting any posts that you feel break the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/View/bungie/conduct]Code of Conduct[/url]. Thank your for working with us to make this community a place that everyone can enjoy.

Good, it's time that some of the more vitriolic comments were removed. Perhaps some of the other Bungie employees ( and yes I am referring to Leif who should have known better despite the fact that he was set up by Planet Destiny )may then come to their own forum to garner some of the great ideas and suggestions that are posted here. Thanks for trying to involve this forum, at least you recognise that we on b. Net are not all bottom feeders

2 RepliesI believe there should be some ban Imposed on a those that are on the forums. swearing carrying on and flat putting Down other guardians. Don't ban them from the game still allow them too play as they odviously don't have a life but at least find a way too Implement banning the from posting on the forums first time for a set period of time but if they continue too breach the code of conduct when posting of the forums ban them permantly from posting.

If it's just straight out: "this gun is way too op, nerf it into the ground," then that person deserves a ban. If it's more along the lines of: "this gun is very powerful because [u](lists reasons and opinions)[/u] and I believe it should have [u](lists proposed changes)[/u] to balance the game," that's fine, perfect actually. And then you'll have your keyboard warriors who'll come out of their basement, acting rude and derogatory towards OP: "That's a stupid idea. Please kill yourself. Don't reproduce, we don't want your stupid genes to spread," these people should also get banned. As opposed to: "I disagree with your argument because [u](lists opposing reasons)[/u]."

9 RepliesThat sounds like an improvement, but from what I've seen the last two days, you guys have cracked down way too hard on enforcing rules. I've been seeing things that most wouldn't consider breaking the CoC removed. Honestly I'm a bit nervous to even post on the forums due to this.
