When VoG and CE get updated
Year 2 players (including me) will suck.
I have no idea what to do. It will be the first time KF for me all over again. People will get annoyed because I don't know what to do.
I will feel like an idiot because Y1 players played this so many times before.
Edit: it's a speculation that the raids are being brought forward. The title should say if instead of when.

Naw man most people loved helping newbies in year 1 raids. The hate started to get bad with kf in year 2.

ce is dumb but easy as hell. -blam!-ing bugfest still idk been months. but vog is cool but way less cool when u know whats going on. play with noobs or ppl who dont give it away. fade and phase like kabr once did

That's cool... You'll have fun with it. The key to raids are having fun with the experience. I remember my first few times through we all sucked but had a ton of laughs and great communication for teamwork. Afterwards when you get use to the mechanics try different ways to beat the raid, like beating atheon without everyone jumping to the center island... The relic holding shooting blast at him, while two are on gorgon duty and every blasting him with whatever weapons they feel worthy (rocket launchers, thunderlords, no land beyond) go ham and have fun!

I don't think "suck" is a good word. There's plenty of day 1 casuals like me that can do both raids in our sleep and would absolutely love to Sherpa you newbies through. Someone helped me, and I'd me more than happy to help someone else. Plus it gives you guys the opportunity to experience the best, absolute BEST part of this game with VOG and substantial rewards. There's nothing like beating Atheon and praying that the reward you want is about to drop. Plus, the aesthetics inside the vault are orgasmic.

Don't get your hopes up, expect very little and hope to be surprised.

Don't worry about it. Unlike kings fall those raids don't require quite as much teamwork and co ordination. Some areas they do, but people have 2 manned VOG & half of the year 1 community soloed Crota.

Play them on normal, and ask questions. Then ask more questions, after that ask the questions that you got the answers to, but didn't understand them. Or watch YouTube like I did and go in knowing what to do. This isn't really that difficult

1 ReplyI would love nothing more than to teach year 2's the best parts of year one (being VoG and Crotas). I played those raids so many times it's not even funny. They were actually fun. Not like that KF crap.

I sincerely hope they do update the old raids, VoG is still my favorite to run. Still run it if I feel like farming for motes
