Warlock rebalancing ideas

The warlocks need the following done to them. Sunsinger: flameshield procs on kill and has its duration buffed accordingly. Firebolts either do the 85 initial damage or do 7 initial damage and burn for 80-100 total damage but not both the damage and the burn in order to bring them more in line with arc bolt. Self res: you are no longer in radiance once you use it. You get a res shield as if you were revived by a player, with your grenade and melee charged, but you don't get a normal radiance when reviving yourself. Song of flame: gets a huge buff to actually be worth specing for in PVE especially. While active it decreases cool downs significantly for grenades and melee and buffs teammate weapon damage in PVE. Stormcaller: Amplitude is removed for a health regen perk. Trancendence is removed for something that buffs grenade duration or something along those lines similar to what strikers and nightstalkers have, base stormcaller duration is buffed but energy drain is more similar to blade dancer. Ionic blink uses significantly more energy. Landfall can no longer kill full health guardians or pop bubbles Edit: everyone is missing that a lot of these would be net buffs. Especially the song of flame buff which would make warlocks actually worth a damn in PVE.

      Ok... Titans get 1 hammer or is a 3 hit kill or loses tracking. Hunters Golden gun gets 1 shot or is a 2 hit kill. Cloaked Guardians still appear on radar. No hunter grenades track, and stuck grenades lose range. Fist of havok must connect like a melee or it only does partial damage. Bubbles can't camp objectives, so they work for both teams. Blade dancers don't last as long, don't one hit kill, and the ranged option is a throwing knife. Voidbow can either one hit kill or tether, not both, unless tracking is disabled. Oh wait, these are all terrible ideas, just like yours.

Jesus its the simplest thing to kill in the game. You are stuck in you animation, people can damage you while you r reviving, and unlike radiant skin, you have no survivability. The way I see it warlocks have no escape tools. The only one that does is voidwalker and its not bad but its not good either. Titans have their skating or twilght garrison to get out or get in fights. Hunters have shadestep and just their natural speed and the fact that their jump is also useful to escape qith. Warlock don't really have any escape tools are jump while good at platforming is virtual useless to get out of fights with, so instead sunsingers have grenades that burn. This allows them to either engage or get people away from them. Stormcallers have the longest range melee with it charge. And voidwalkers have blink and axion bolt which chase you down and do a lot of damage. So it feels the same role as firebolt burn.

        • So make firebolt with 2 perks do the same dmg with at bolt as none. Nerf sunsinger super even though it sucks. Make flame shield trash compared to force barrier. Make stormcaller shit. That's how you ruin a whole class.
