TL;DR: Is it really that hard to get 1 kill per life? If you need help, I can give you tips :)
Alright, I just wanted to ask something, do you guys really find it that hard to get 1 kill atleast in each life? I mean you have grenades, melees, primary weapons, secondary weapons, supers etc, is it really hard to get a kill and mantain a positive K/D? Use everything I said to your advantage, have map awareness, constantly check your radars, use your movement to your advantage ( Blink, shadestep, Twilight Garrison etc. to close gaps or run away ) and abilities to stay alive, it shouldn't be that hard to mantain a 1 KD.
Ik not everyone can have a 1 KD jeez.

Who really cares about K/D ratio? Unless you are a pro gamer thats entering tournaments & making $$ or seriously trying to, then just play & have fun..I let my kid & newb friends play on my account..Im sure mine looks like ass?..Dont know for sure though, because I never even look at that crap.

Ive never left a match no matter if i spawned in late, team doing badly, others left, i was playing bad or other team destroying us. Much better now though i still play crap trying to do some bounties like 6 or 9 weapon kills so hard sometimes if others assist you, i forget and melee or getting heavy and slaying others with my sword and forgetting the bounty

Nope, I find making myself get at least 1 kill per life boring. Sure, I've had 20.0 kd games before, got a phantom, prevailed unbroken, yada yada. I honestly have more fun trolling than anything. I play for fun, not numbers.

It's not hard, I just sucked at crucible back in vanilla destiny.

Yeah, everyone can. I've gone 10.0+ in Crucible several times but sometimes i also go 0.63. It all depends on how I want to play and what groove I'm in. If I've just watched a sick True Vanguard snipe video and decided to learn how to jump snipe myself that's what I'll do. If I get a singel kill doing something like that in a game I'm pleased. And couldn't care less about how my kd is tanking. I aim for fun and trying new things. If it goes terrible then I've hopefully learned something for my next try. :)

I tried playing the game normal for a few games...ending up going 2.5+ consistently... Have more fun shoulder charging everyone which has its ups and downs

1 ReplyI honestly don't think a k/d on its own can tell whether you're good or not. I'm not a great pvper by any sense of the word compared to many in this game, but I know my k/d would be better if I didn't like to constantly experiment with different load outs of guns, subclass, etc. If you're pretty much using the same stuff all the time, obviously you will be proficient with said items and loadout. I just find it boring not to experiment, whether it kills my k/d or not.
