Dear Bungie,
Why is there no matchmaking on Crimson Doubles? It would have been much better if we could simply log in and play.
Anyone else think the same?

2 RepliesDo you really not have a date to play? Poor little bry bry. Highly recommend Tinder, Eharmony if you want those older babes.
-
So stupid there is no matchmaking. I will never understand not having optional matchmaking in this game. Never.
-
6 RepliesNo, that's what crucible and regular doubles is for. Crimson doubles emphasizes the fact that valentines day shows a bond between 2 people, it wouldn't match the theme if it were matchmaking.
-
It's looks like the entire concept is over your head. It is a social experience involving 2 people. If you want to be antisocial then go play regular crucible.
-
5 RepliesThis game was meant for ppl who have friends, not there fought if your a loser and have no friends. This isn't only directed towards you, this is to everyone is cry baby loser who can't even find friends in fantasyland.
-
Because it made sense to Bungie from a business perspective to alienate players. Because that's what you want as a developer right? Their stock must be soaring......... I think Martin Shkreli must be behind the wheel......
-
There's a buttload of lfg options.
-
Kinda defeats the purpose of going into doubles with your best butt buddy. Packing a little duke and shooting some face.
-
The bounties rely on both players being in a fireteam. That's the excuse anyway.

3 RepliesEdited by Yeggsi: 2/10/2016 11:41:28 PMIt's a two player trials what did you expect plus it's a Valentine's Day event

3 RepliesEdited by ewany200: 2/10/2016 11:03:41 PMYes i think its ridiculous. To all you -faggöts!- being absolute retards please fück off, you really are a cancer in the community.
-
Then it would just be doubles?
-
There is a matchmaker. His name is cupid brother
-
2 RepliesWhy do so many people not have friends?
-
The whole thing is based on going in with a friend. If you want basically the same, go play elimination
-
because scrub player that don't have a dedicated team for things like this shouldn't be playing go get some friends and git gud you nub
#satire
This event was designed for a specific part of the community. They are a business. They have to try and keep the game relevant as much & long as possible. Why waste time and money on PvE with no real money return when your PvP "hardcore " players are more than happy to pay for micro transactions regularly and graciously? CD was built for them. Bungie figures the PvE/casual crowd has already moved onto other games. You reward those who line your pockets with another event for them to buy stuff.
-
I do agree with you but I think the whole point was to play CD with a dedicated partner.

1 ReplyAbsolutely it is ridiculous that there is no option for match-making. Why is the quest to finish 7 games in a fire team of two, if there is no other option? Did they originally intend to have match-making? So, yeah, the only thing I enjoy in this game anymore is doing the Shaxx weekly pvp bounties solo. Can't do that while Crimson doubles is in town, because the crimson doubles bounties replace those bounties, and now I'm forced to bug one of my psn "friends" or go on LFG to find a running mate for crimson doubles. Really should have had the option for match-making if this is there big "winter content". Asinine. Just asinine.

5 RepliesMy experience of it was turn on Xbox, download update, launch destiny, go to tower, ooh nice job, no matchmaking, sign out, turn Xbox off.
-
So, are you saying you want a blind date?
-
1 ReplySee author is in clan. Decides post is satire without the tag.

Edited by Dezzie19: 2/10/2016 10:51:52 AMTo try force prople into making friends on the game and to keep you playing for the social experience.
-
But if it had matchmaking and someone got booted, weeeelll... the whole idea of doubles went out the window. At least with skirmish 2v3 is still possible. Not saying 1v2 isn't, but it'd be a lot more difficult.

U have no friends, that's sad 😕
