How many have practically given up on getting 320?
Keen to know.
Not making any judgements as I know the only way you can really get there is in Raid or some PVP.
Do you care?
Given up and moved onto something else?

311 is more than enough for everything outside of trials and hard raid. I don't do trials, and it's good enough to make it through hard raid. The only reason to grind to 320 is to say you are 320. There really is no point. If there were no other games to play right now, I'm sure I'd still be grinding. But that's not the case. I'll be back when there is more new PvE content.

I'm 318.9 & RNG hasn't played fair in the raid. Oryx has [b]never[/b] dropped a helmet for me. Even did the challenge 3x

Highest is 301. Gave up on the grind and focused on pvp. Way more fun to me.

I raid once a week on lfg with one character. Rarely any fun. So I'm only 316 with some help from Iron Banner. With this speed I'll be 320 in May or June. But I'm not giving up. It's just a slooow progress.

I gave up as soon as I hit 320 on my warlock. I quit caring.

Got to like 312 max on my hunter, and thats it. Gave up even trying. No need for it in pvp and i dont look for groups with silly requirements in pve. The grind is unreal you are fighting rng, plus leveling gear takes ages when everything drops below your current light level. Remove light levels from the game, bring back etheric light and restructure for static max levels on all gear. It keeps the game fun for everyone, gets rid of most requirement elitists and you dont need to fight rng and grind like its a job because that is what this game has become.

I already accepted that all my weapoms and armor can be 320 but I'll never get a 320 ghost or class item. It's nice having like 4958383859 320 artifacts though.

Lost interest. What's the point? If and when we get a new DLC it's all going to change.

It's irrelevant for end game content. If I want to jump into IB, TOO, or HM raid at my current level I can easily. I haven't even beaten HM raid Oryx purely out of lack of desire to do so. I don't want anything from it and I've played it so many times before getting scorned on the drops I just quit playing it. I also haven't put much time into my Titan or any into my Warlock since TTK. I don't have that desire to max three characters. Grind three NF for drops. Max those marks out to buy gear.

Ever since I got to 317 I've gotten nothing but moldering shards even on hard I got so frustrated that I jus stopped playing destiny

All characters at 319 and have lost interest in the entire game. The odds were way better of reaching Max level pre taken king. Then you realise its all worthless at the next DLC release. Loving my break and playing other titles.

Like seriously, 309 and 310 Light isn't much of a difference, sheesh. Plus, the only way I'm reaching 309 Light is by equipping my shitty Anguish of Drystan and my Dark Drinker. As far as I can tell, swords aren't useful in the raid. I have no XBL Gold now, so I can't really say much. Sad thing is, it's like "forever 29" again for me. Only this time it's a lot worse. I played VoG, CE and PoE multiple times even after I reached max Light level. I can't be bothered to do KF, in fact I've killed Oryx a grand total of three times. I can't count the number of times I've killed Atheon, Crota, and Skolas.
