A 320 ghost LoL.

6 RepliesWe used to get shit-faced playing CE. Somebody always wanted to solo the lamps which left the rest of us to drink in peace, then if you couldn't get to the top of the tower you spent the bridge phase with the controller down/beer up, and if done right you were too drunk to make it past the Deathsinger without dying so that meant more drinks... Good times.

I never said that... I always just ran through and assisted the others when I was in the clear. The more cannon fodder, the better.

That's how the fireteam did the Abyss every time I played CE, except maybe once I think.

I was the first person to solo no-lamp the abyss and I have to say. After doing that for an age, you learn your way around quite easily xD

That part was fun watching everyone trying to figure it out. The secret is that the lamps were a trap the whole time. No lamp strat.

Thats not fun. My strat for lamps is everyman for himself. But honestly if the crota raid had one more mini boss, bungie patched all the cheeses, and then changed up the crota fight a little bit. It would be really badass. For the abyss make it so at least 3 team mates need to make it to the end and hold 3 seperate. And they must be held down, not just activated followed by hiding. Then insert a mini boss fight after you go through the white light at the end of the abyss like a spcial wizard or something that summons 6 sword barriers and all 6 members of the fire team have to carry the sword at the same time and each person has to use the sword in conjuction with a rube goldberg machine type fashion in six different places to sacrifice the power of the swords to bring down the mini boss shields and the shield will stay down for as long as damage is being delt to the boss at like at a stacking dps rate, so if you do 100 dps then 2 seconds later you need to do 200 dps, how ever you can stack it to make it work i dont math. As long as you meet the dps requirement the shields will stay down, however after the first alotted amount of time the boss summons waves of thrall and the wave come every increase in dps requirment. The waves grow progressvly larger each time. Then a gaurdien has to use themselves as bait to lore out the 6 sword bariers and wash rinse repeat. Or thats a bad idea, i just adliped that so probly not a good idea. Lol Then the bridge. The bridge is fine juat take away the cheeses and add more enemies. Thrall way is watever The rest of the raid is fine i guess id like new machanics for crota though. Kinda dumb to just fire rockets and beat him with a stick.
