Petition to nerf Firebolt
If you are reading this bungie consider how unbalanced it is to have the upperhand in a 1v1 gunfight but due to the fact that i chased and get a grenade that tags me and leaves me little to no health is unfair.
Edit 1: clearly the guys hating are locks, just like titans cried when HoS got nerfed, keep clinging to your crutch.
Edit 2: The damage over time (Vf+ToF) is the issue I have, I do shadestep but having my team out of a battle because they have been tagged is not balanced.

Firebolts don't need another nerf, they are only good with the right set up, and it is the best thing about the sunsinger super. I cry more about the 10 hour super that the stormcallers have (with the right set up). That needs a nerf like making super drain while using it. They just spam lighting because there is no reason not to.

Just make it so Viking funeral doesn't work on firebolt grenades. The normal dot perk is fine, but it just does too much damage for how easy it is to use with both perks.

During that period of time all an enemy has to do is fart in your general direction to get the kill. It doesn't promote good gunplay. I've seen groups of three Sunsingers with Voidfang Vestments just spamming the damn things. They don't even have to see you. Throw the nade, shoot the pinky toe with Doctrine of Passing and move on. Very unbalanced, especially since their melee is fantastic as well which creates a incredibly powerful neutral game. However, Warlocks shouldn't be the only class Bungie looks into. Hunters have been the Kings of Crucible since the beginning. They need to look into the remaining six subclasses just like they did for Titans. P.S. - fix the hammer glitch!

5 RepliesI dunno if it is overpowered, but it seemed strange to me that, in 2.0 they reduced Arcbolt's damage but not Firebolt. If one deserves nerfing, surely the other did. *shurg* Bungie logic, I guess.

Nah man, that's what us sunsingers are for. Our class is built around our melee and grenades and it makes sense for us to have a good grenade (This is just my opinion and I respect everyone else's)

1 ReplyIt's not overpowered. It's just that it kills quickly if you have a bit of health lost. Honestly it's easy to kill the warlock and wait out the burn
