Guys......you all are totally sleeping on sidearms!!
Last week before Iron banner I bought the vendor havoc pigeon and leveled it up to 320 and holy crap does it wrecks.
You're tired of snipers? Get you a high powered scout rifle ( jade rabbit, colovance duty type) and wreck them real quick (dont forget to strafe)..... And uh uh...you see that shotgunner running towards you? Whip out that sidearm and melt his ass before he gets into range.
Wait a minute it gets better.. You pushing them snipers and they switched to the Last word. Guys DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE RANGE OF THESE SIDEARMS!! If your strafe game is on point you can get into a mid range engagement with TLW and YOU WILL WIN 70% of those matches!!!!
AND IT GETS EVEN BETTER!!!!! You dont ever need to worry about ammo because you WILL ALWAYS SPAWN WITH 20 ROUNDS OF AMMO NO MATTER WHAT.
Guys...Guys........ Trust me. Im not the greatest pvp player but if you check my titans iron banner stats you can see i was putting in work.
The sidearm is where its at....wake up and buy one!! The crucible and new monarchy vender both have very good sidearm rolls. Go get it!!!
I see the sidearm love all through this thread
Also all you ppl telling me to be quite, Stop it, the sidearm only compliments a certain playstyle.

I think there not as popular because there not one hit kills , like every other special can be. I like them though , there fun to use . Just have to change your play style with them .

6 RepliesStreamers start using sidearms and now you see them everywhere in crucible. It's actually fun cuz most ppl that I come across, that are using one, are completely ass with it. Stop copying the meta find out what works for you scrub lords

1 ReplySide arms don't hold a candle to TLW. Assuming equal skill levels (which you need to do when comparing things like this) TLW wins every time in every situation. Just run a sniper or a shotgun.

I've never been outgunned by a sidearm when I run TLW. I've been killed by them by crossfire, but never 1v1.

1 ReplySidearms on people not proficient with last word is great. Scouts with people not proficient with snipers is also great. Scouts vs. snipers in 3s. Not as great Sidearms vs. last word in 3s also not great. I can definitely agree with the shotgun part, but in 3s a good shotgunner a will blink/use cover so you won't be able to utilize that mid range where side arms will beat them out. This is from my experience.
