Guys......you all are totally sleeping on sidearms!!
Last week before Iron banner I bought the vendor havoc pigeon and leveled it up to 320 and holy crap does it wrecks.
You're tired of snipers? Get you a high powered scout rifle ( jade rabbit, colovance duty type) and wreck them real quick (dont forget to strafe)..... And uh uh...you see that shotgunner running towards you? Whip out that sidearm and melt his ass before he gets into range.
Wait a minute it gets better.. You pushing them snipers and they switched to the Last word. Guys DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE RANGE OF THESE SIDEARMS!! If your strafe game is on point you can get into a mid range engagement with TLW and YOU WILL WIN 70% of those matches!!!!
AND IT GETS EVEN BETTER!!!!! You dont ever need to worry about ammo because you WILL ALWAYS SPAWN WITH 20 ROUNDS OF AMMO NO MATTER WHAT.
Guys...Guys........ Trust me. Im not the greatest pvp player but if you check my titans iron banner stats you can see i was putting in work.
The sidearm is where its at....wake up and buy one!! The crucible and new monarchy vender both have very good sidearm rolls. Go get it!!!
I see the sidearm love all through this thread
Also all you ppl telling me to be quite, Stop it, the sidearm only compliments a certain playstyle.

I love my Arc Jabberhakke-D, got it infused up to 304 and it really does some damage in PvP.

Havoc pigeon Crowd Control Hot Swap, Snap shot/HCR/Appended Mag Havoc pigeon Zen moment, spray & play, speed reload/HCR/reinforced barrel IronWreath Reactive reload,spray&play,snapshot/HCR/reinforced barrel IronWreath Crowd Control,Battle Runner, Speed reload/HCR/Feather Mag. Basically I have had bout 20 drop and these are the ones I have kept. Anything worth using?

TLW stomps Sidearms at the ranges they're usable, and a decent Sniper would easily kill anyone who tries to pick them off with a Scout Rifle as there's hardly any flinch in this game. (Except for MIDA..Man, the flinch is real.) [spoiler]Not trying to be mean, OP. Just practical. :([/spoiler]

I started playing with my sidearm a lot yesterday. Jabberhäkke-D: Crowd Control Relentless Tracker Reinforced Barrel Very fun to use, especially airborne (super accurate). It's a reliable counter against shotguns. I think I'll buy the Havoc Pidgeon from the Crucible today. It feels like we have two types of damages. Just a feeling. I wish I had an Ironwreath-D with Rangefinder/Feeding Frenzy/Extended Mag.

1 Replyused MIDA/Sidearm and Jade Rabbit/sidearm pretty exclusively this past IB with great success. Have a Jabberhakke-D with Rangefinder, Hot Swap and Snapshot. It absolutely shreds. Love using them now.

1 ReplyCouldnt agree more, after hitting rank 5 in IB all i used was NLB and havoc pigeon it was actually the most fun i have had in recent pvp and it was actually effective aswell.

Yeah I remember a match of IB where this guy on the enemy team kept -blam!-ing me with a Havoc Pigeon. I couldn't do anything about it. The second I turn a corner and it was him I was instantly dead. Insane.
