Do XBOX servers go do down much?
PSN servers are down again, which is pretty annoying as this is becoming a regular occurrence. Thinking of buying an xbone, servers any better?

Servers hardly go down for me at least haven't had a server issue since the Christmas hacks by lizard squad

They never really go down. Pretty good really :)

I've always been xbox and I've had minor problems with servers but never been offline longer then half hour!

Other then a bi yearly maintenance the past 10 years I've been on xbl I've only experienced a few maybe 4 or 5 network downs over a few hours most of the time they are fixed and running within the hour of going down Never been off more then 3 or 4 hours. Even lizard squad only managed to take it down for a hour.

Rarely, and it usually only happens when it gets ddosed. Besides that it's very rare.

?? When we're they down I have as of yet not had any service interruption since iron banner in december.

I've very rarely seen them go down no where near as often as psn.

Yeah man I always say if you're not on PC and want to play online games you go with the company who made its name in online everything :)

1 ReplyI have both and have found Live to be much more stable on both 360/XB1 versus PS3/PS4. PSN is much better now than it used to be but is still down more often and usually for longer although it's not as bad as many folk make out.

Not really. When they do, it's only for a few hours at most. Is that really worth the time and effort that you'll have to give to grind to where you are now, though?

If it does its normally back up in 30 minutes.

Not to start a war but the Xbox servers are probably a lot better cause you pay more for gold every month than what you pay on play station so they can afford good servers

I have both and id say it was pretty even. Obviously I use my PS more as its considerably better but as I say downtime is pretty even.

A few times per year but it's solid thought. It's fixed within a day. It's annoying thought that people complain when it's down, nothing is perfect.

I have both systems and I find Xbox Live is pretty solid. Doesn't go down as much as PS. It still goes down, but rarely.
