PSN servers are down again, which is pretty annoying as this is becoming a regular occurrence. Thinking of buying an xbone, servers any better?

1 ReplyEdited by Wheeze: 2/1/2016 8:03:14 PMDunno. A couple weeks ago I couldn't log onto Destiny because of server issues with Live, but I was technically still online and could see my friends and such. Also, sometimes party chat just completely shits the bed. And ever since they updatesdthe OS for the XBone a couple months back, it takes me like, 1 to 2 minutes to log on at start up, for some reason. But, as for Live completely going down? The last time I remember that happening was Christmas 2014. I don't have a PS, by the way, and care not for console war BS, this is just my perception/memory of the Live experience.

1 ReplyI would say no . Not at all

Yeah their a bit better but not worth spending $300 over
-
Xbox Live normally good rarely have problems
-
Server outages were pretty common when it first released, but after those first few months it only goes down once or twice a year.
-
1 ReplyFeels same to me ... I play both and both seem to just take turns being shitty.

4 RepliesDon't let what some Playstation/pc asshole says. We aren't down that often. They will because most of them are console elitests in one way or another

Only if you use Brighthouse

Didn't know servers went down until I heard about ps4 they don't go down on Xbox
-
My true followers have both consoles and the unreleased Nintendo NX

4 RepliesNope can't remember the last time Xbox servers were down
-
They are very rarely to go down. If they are, it's usually planned or fixed within an hour.

34 RepliesXbone servers are terrible I get knocked off every 15 minutes, Don't buy one Save your money
-
Do yourself a favor. But the Xbox
-
The servers are occasionally down for maintenance and whatnot, but from what I can tell, not nearly as much as it is for PS.
-
1 ReplyBeing on both systems, I think that PSN takes the cake on being down. I'm glad to be able to choose between the two though.

My son plays on ps4, I have an xbone. Ps seems to go down more. I see very few glitches, but when DDoS idjits want to go to jail, both systems suffer.

8 times out of 10, multiple, continuous network drops, are a sign of configuration or hardware problems with your Modem / router. Xbox Live has its issues, Destiny Servers have their own at times. Connections are pretty consistent for me on X1 and 360. Look at your router's NAT type, port forwarding, DNS servers, etc. People tend to be quick to blame external servers for bad connections, when the culprit could very well be sitting on their desk at home.

Goes down once every couple months it seems. I can't even ever the last down time tbh. How often do ps servers go down?

Only if somebody goes down on them first. Very selfish lovers.....
