PSN servers are down again, which is pretty annoying as this is becoming a regular occurrence. Thinking of buying an xbone, servers any better?

Not really. I've only not been able to log on a few times in the past couple years.

19 RepliesNever had problems logging in. Really sucks for you PS4 fanboys that get hacked or can't play online all the time :) Seriously I see messages every other day about PS4 problems, the last time Xbox had a problem was when lizard squad attacked it 2 years ago.
-
I've had my ps4 since the day it dropped. I would say, I have experienced the psn down a handful of times, about 7 to 12 times. That's not much to me and I use my ps4 all the time.
-
Nope, but you bet your ass psn goes down a lot
-
Edit your title you dumb sh it
-
Does happen but no where near as often as psn
-
No they don't. That's our version of console exclusivity!
-
Xbox it's very uncommon. When maintenance is due maybe 5 mins off

Edited by Tido702: 2/2/2016 7:03:59 PMNo lol never... go with an xbox muxh better system
-
The XBONE go down every once in awhile but sounds like psn more by the amount of posts I see
-
XBL almost never goes down. For me at least
-
4 RepliesWell Sony is a company that makes other things not only 1 console which many people don't understand it will get hacked over and over and over again but the fact like last year's hack where they did not announce they were 4 months after they were and the leaks got out is actually quite upsetting.

6 RepliesThe weekly reset screws my xbox, I have to power down, unplug it for a minute then all set.
-
I feel like psn has a little more outages than Xbox but Xbox has more problems when it is up.
-
12 RepliesXbox only has 12 million buyers to care for so it should be easier than it us for playstation with 30 million.
-
Servers are fairly good but do go down from time to time. Since i have never had a ps3 or ps4 i cant really compare servers but from what i hear from friends and such the ps servers do go down more than xbox.

10 RepliesEdited by lukatmypenies: 2/2/2016 6:38:17 PMWhen are people gonna learn? You can't argue with Xbox users. They equate having Halo to having the better console, for -blam!- sake. :/ fanboy is just another way of spelling faggot.
-
I used to be on PS3 then swapped to Xbox and the servers are much better. I wouldn't pay to play PS online - the amount of downtime is a complete pisstake.
-
Not on the whole no, since they upped the chat party limit a couple of months ago they seem to have a funny five minutes now and then. Also when the service does go down MS are really quick at fixing it, the only time to my memory that it's been down for more than a couple of hours was that Xmas where everyone (PS included) got hit by DDOS attacks.
-
6 RepliesBased off the outage reports seems Xbox is has less down time.
-
3 RepliesPsn maintenance was even posted in this forum a week ago. It was scheduled. You kids just look for stuff to cry about.
-
3 RepliesXbox live has been pretty good this year
-
PSN has always had shit servers (just like destiny eh?) Xbox one is great at everything, ps4 is more for straight gaming. Most people are like "oh it has better specs", which it does, But it's not like it's going to matter since most games are released on both consoles and both consoles will play them just the same as the other.
-
Why is PSN going down? If it's for maintenance, that's probably a good thing. If it's issues, then maybe the switch. I don't experience a whole lot of XBL issues and I can usually get a year of it for $60.
-
Xbox live is usually always up and running. They'll be a few times where something went wrong or maintenance.

1 ReplyEdited by Wheeze: 2/1/2016 8:03:14 PMDunno. A couple weeks ago I couldn't log onto Destiny because of server issues with Live, but I was technically still online and could see my friends and such. Also, sometimes party chat just completely shits the bed. And ever since they updatesdthe OS for the XBone a couple months back, it takes me like, 1 to 2 minutes to log on at start up, for some reason. But, as for Live completely going down? The last time I remember that happening was Christmas 2014. I don't have a PS, by the way, and care not for console war BS, this is just my perception/memory of the Live experience.
