Do XBOX servers go do down much?
PSN servers are down again, which is pretty annoying as this is becoming a regular occurrence. Thinking of buying an xbone, servers any better?

Destiny servers go down on Xbox a decent amount but the Xbox servers as a whole rarely go down

I can only think of one time semi recently that live has been down. Every so often there is a hiccup too, but those are very rare and very short lived.

It's weird how it all varies per person because I've only had 1-2 downs on PSN in the past year whereas other people claim they have had plentiful server problems.

Live is much more reliable than PSN. Lizardsquad can rarely make good on their threats against LIVE but almost always succeed against PSN

No they don't. We at ps may have more players & technically a better system in terms of small differences like graphics, but those guys on xbox have 10x better netcode than we do. If you like online games, you should know they run much better on xbox.

14 RepliesNo and i play on both consoles. Playstation is so crap for all things social in destiny. Xbox is a 1 button press to invite to party and game without leaving the game. Xbox split screens messages so ur still in the game. Xbox allows you to switch to twitch and youtube and back to the exact same point in the game but playstation has to "suspend" everything....so crap. Xbox lets u watch stuff in tge corner of the screen while waiting or playing strikes that require no brain input. Xbox controller batteries last days and not hours Xbox gamer score is more mature than "trophies" that mean nothing Xbox doesnt have the privacy settings issue that makes teams wait for team leaders to realise that they aren't "open to public" *sigh* You can "cast to" xbox from pc or kodi and watch anything Playstation locks you out of all your digital downloads if PSN is down...SO NO GAMING!! Playstation is a great console and if all your friends have one then all the better but xbox one just has all the options and services that a mature player needs. We dont want to leave the game or add friends just to join a party or spend ages waiting on the messages to load up like in playstation. It just takes ages to do everything with sony. Microsoft just made a better console but side by side and for just playing games...ps4 is still as good but i personally wouldnt miss it if i sold it.

Psn and Xbox live both go down. End of story. Anyone who denies it is a fanboy who needs to get the Sony or Microsoft dick out of their mouth. Just buy and play what you want, for the needs you have, and the friends you play with

ecks bone! I think in the entire time I've been playing xbox live (coming on 12 years) they have been down for extended periods of time only twice. I'm sure they've been down more, but nowhere near how many times I've seen PSN down

I think since I've owned mine (Sept 2014) it's been down 3 times total. Once was Christmas, then some other sporadic localized outages. Can't speak for psn at all

Well all ik is that it doesnt go down, its pretty rare for it to be down for me and me friends

Not really. I do have issues with digital content though. Recently there have been 4 or 5 times where Xbox Live was unable to load any purchased digital content. People who have the hard CD can play, but if you purchased the game digitally then you're out of luck. It's usually fixed in a few hours, but it's been happening lately....and with all of my games being digital purchases now it leaves me with nothing to play.

Im able to play destiny every day without problem. Unless bungie is doing an update to their servers that day, then im forked

Just the one time lizard squad got us, I have both systems and the PS4 is nice, but everything just works better on Xbox. I just like the layout way more too
