Iron Banner was a waste of time
After running two characters through it I didn't get squat
.
The best items I got were 310 items, my characters were at 318 and 317.
.
I'm butthurt over this, thanks for nothing Bungie,
oh yea ... Rift sucks, call it what it really is, "Capture the Flag"

1 ReplyLast IB I couldn't even play on the day I planned to do it since PSN was down. So I only had time for one character when it came back up. I got a 310 handcannon from it... hooray. I'll finish up this IB tonight when I get back from work. Hopefully it won't be as bad as that last one.

2 RepliesThe point of iron banana is to get the people without the best gear, closer to having it. You're already 317 and 318. What did you expect? Do you go through the raid each week and complain because you got armor that didn't help you level your character? It's RNG bruh, get over it.

It was for me I got a 319 primary and 318 gauntlets. My character maxed at 312.

311 machine gun from R5 package. last time was 312 pulse rifle. Gonna farm drops tonight as a Rank 5. If I find myself less entertained then watching TV.. I'll stop and watch TV. lol.

3 RepliesIf you are over 310 and expecting to increase your light, don't play iron banner. The gear is better suited for individuals under 310. The vendor scout rifle was great, for me, it was worth it just for that.

I totally needed a sixth 310 ghost and a 311 mark though. My 314 mark was getting boring /sarcasm

Picked up a 320 iron shell and 318 Sniper at rank 4... Guess it's not a waste for everyone

I was so mad that my 315 hunter only got a 310 helmet worse than the IB helmet I already had equipped.

I got a 320 primary on my 3rd character. I would've rather had a 320 ghost though.

If it was CTF you would go back to your spawn from theirs, which probably wouldn't work because of the glorious spawning and small maps

Yup got a 310 ghost from rank five, and blues on rank 3. And a million pairs of crappy rolled boots. Ugh.

1 ReplyA little bit of Rift goes a long way. It quickly becomes boring and a grind. To top it off, the rewards didn't wow, help, or justify the time spent grinding. After getting three characters to rank 5, the best rewards were a 317 auto rifle and a 317 warlock helmet. Nothing else exceeded anything already owned.
