Just played the Division beta. It's official, Destiny is finally dead.
The division is everything good about destiny with none of the bad.
If bungie doesn't go out of business from this destiny content fiasco, even tho destiny's 10 year plan will be scrapped, I hope they don't half ass their next IP

2 RepliesIt does look like it will play well, but the map is much smaller than I thought it would be. So I won't be buying it until I see some streaming and witness how others experience it. Not going to be a beta tester anymore for all these devs.

Division is good and enjoyable , but it isn't a destiny killer , it will however take more from destinys dwindling fan base unless they stop trying to orientate the game towards pvp , if people wanted a pvp game they'd go play cod or battlefield /front etc , this isn't halo bungie , you had your epic multiplayer .

Bungie hurt Destiny way more then any other game did or will do in the future. Thats what makes its such a sad story, there development and management choices after the release of Destiny are .....

[/b] There is nothing about Destiny that feels" in the wild", because Destiny by design is very linear with shitty RNG and predictable enemies. Well... The Dark Zone in the Division is really the freaking Wild! That place can be a freaking Jungle! I spent 5 hours there with my friends and it was awesome. You have to navigate NPC's, bosses, friendlies and Rogues to get your loot. Got some good shit too, I don't know where people is getting this bad RNG like Destiny bullshit from.

15 RepliesNot.... It's a Damn 3rd person shooter, that died with socom 2 in 2003. Only a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER CAN KILL DESTINY. Not a mmo or a 3rd person or any mixture. Most destiny players are true 1st person shooters fans and the others are MMO fans that like the fact they can shoot stuff and use magic .
