I'm sorry but Iron Banner Rift is straight up garbage.
Whomever decided this was a fantastic idea, deserves a kick to the nuts and an immediate pink slip. The lag is incredible and a snipe fest. Granted, yes, I suck at sniping, but geez.....it's overkill here. For the love of God, don't ever do rift IB again.

5 RepliesI'm dropping out. I'm not going to team up for iron banner and it seems impossible to win unless you are teamed up with 5 others. By FAR the least fun Iron banner since launch.

I haven't had any problems with Rift. People say that 6 man parties are the only way to win, but I've been crushing 5-6 man parties solo or with just 1 friend. Perhaps it's not the game type after all...

It's awful. I ran it in a full squad, hardly lost, and its still awful.

I am liking so far. Now true you can't just kill, kill. kill and hope to dominate a match or get the Best Around Score. You need to be able to carry the spark effectively once or twice and I think that is the problem. Players with all the top of the line hardware are finding it less effective when it come to winning matches and are having to change their play style. The only real issue I am having is server lag which has caused some MAJOR frustration (really bungie can we get someone on this).

I agree. Id rather light myself on fire. Id rather rather put my nuts on a bear trap..Id rather have a car run me over, twice! then play that stupid rift crap. But in order to get anything good if im LUCKY!! is to play that piece of $hit rift!!

Yep total shit. Every game ive played its either win or lose by a huge point difference. Not one match has been even. And how many people r not gonna get to turn in the bounty for highest overall score? Pretty sure not i.

Um, I regularly take down enemy snipers. Sure they are annoying, but it's all about changing your tactics.

Plz bungie no more Rift Iron Banana. Clash was the most interresting game mode since battles were more interresting. Maybe a Combined Arms IB ?

its been pretty good to me mostly actually.. i'm getting the hang of it now. treat it less like clash, more like rift lol.
