I'm sorry but Iron Banner Rift is straight up garbage.
Whomever decided this was a fantastic idea, deserves a kick to the nuts and an immediate pink slip. The lag is incredible and a snipe fest. Granted, yes, I suck at sniping, but geez.....it's overkill here. For the love of God, don't ever do rift IB again.

Rift was amazing with 3+ members in your fireteam.. Solo it was crap. Most fun IB i have ever played.

I would have agreed with you a few days ago, but Saturday and Sunday I played with a team instead of solo, and the difference was amazing. Raised all my characters to level 5, and even got a couple of phantom medals. The drops though are absolutely terrible.

Yes Rift IB sucks. Check if own Team camps at the base. If yes - leave and try next game

It's trash. The mode has always been trash and will always be trash. Plus now green bars teleport???? I think we are being lied to again.

Funny, cause IB Rift is my highest K/D of all Crucible modes and I HATE (read that - HATE) Rift. Not to mention it's still a lot less frustrating than Trials.

It makes IB fun. It allows the people that are bad at PvP an opportunity to contribute to their team, unlike in clash and control in which they contribute to the other team

I play solo and hit 5 on all 3 toons never took more than 4 losses in a row. By all means the easiest Banner I've ever had and I've played them all, don't know what all the bitching is about.

I don't think it's a bad mode. I just don't think it's a good mode for iron banner. You can tell if you go in without a team that the vast majority of the people Bungie pairs you up with have no idea what to do.

I had a great time playing it. Try for the spark and you'll enjoy it too also play with a friend, if you're playing rift solo and staying away from the spark then I can see why you won't like it. I'm glad they are mixing up Iron Banner because I enjoy playing more than one game mode.

It's terrible... Start match, enemy ignights rift, half the team leave & so an onward struggle for 5-10 minutes. Next game... Joining game in progress, shaxx rambling on in the the loading screen and game gets mercy'd before my feet touch the ground. Game after... Same as before and then again once more. I'm getting 2/3 decent matches an hour. What an absolute joke of an event and I actually quite like rift.

2 RepliesRift is the worse. Dumb mechanics. Terrible spawns and scoring makes no sense. When you spawn literally 5 times either in front of a super, heavy or someone scoring the rift, how are you suppose to respond to that? It's not just one game it's multiple either me doing it to the other team or them to me. Then the whole one spot both teams fight to camp just to grab the spark and push one team back into their spawn where you either score or get close and die and your team has the advantage to grab the camping again. Doesn't make sense to me and is not fun. But I love destiny and endure the pain for IB. Bungie needs to either fix Rift in general or change IB to be random 6v6 game types. This shit is terrible.

What I find weird is most games I play people are a little below a full green bar but the lag feels much worse then is indicated. I'm not sure if it's when more effects start going off but I have videos from yesterday where shadow shot attaches to me half way across the map, Titans FoH appearing out of nowhere, people never taking damage, the usual teleportation we all see. No idea if this is just a string of bad luck, but this has been my worst ever IB experience.

How is lagging affecting the gamemod and snipings in control and clash so your points are invalid. If they were about crucible on general sure I agree but not just for rift

Just let them gather their data. Hopefully they'll see a noticeable difference to Clash and Control...
