This is all I see in IB with randoms. People just grab the spark and tunnel vision the enemy rift. Like they're playing PvE or something where you can run past the AI and they'll miss. You have a team for a reason. Let them pave a pathway for you instead of just sprinting to the other side and praying you get lucky.

This is why I play as a 6 man team. Coordination is key and it's hard to get that as a solo player.

1 ReplyI think playing Rift turns everyone into Forest Gump... Just sitting on a park bench, drooling and pondering the meaning of life...
-
3 RepliesWhen I grab it I try and sit back and find a path that my team is supposedly supposed to make but no, they hide behind me and follow me to the back of the map not shooting anyone.
-
10 RepliesAfter I lose a match, usually the guy with the most carries has an atrocious KD. Just because it's and objective type game mode doesn't mean you need to complete the objective while being team shot by 3 guys. How about you shoot back a couple times before grabbing that spark.
-
sometimes when rolling solo you get the "i'm not going in there" moment from your teammates.
-
This is one of the reasons I will almost never run the spark myself unless I need points for a bounty. I play just to kill or clear a path with my stormcaller. I'm not the worst runner but I hate being alone when the rest of my team is off doing God knows what. Communication is good but there have been exceptions where we didn't need it

If solo, I grab it. And if my team isn't already pushing forward, then they probably weren't going to be very effective getting a path cleared, so I snagged it and ran. I ran like a little bitch and also kept them from taking the spark and pushing past my randumb team of nincompoops to ignite our rift. Maybe by the time the next spark is charged, they'll have their shit together. Probably not, so I'm gonna spawn camp and keep a few of the reds off of it. If my 5 teammates can't cover the 2-4 enemies that I haven't been pissing off at the spawn, then -blam!- it - gimme my loss.

This post is facts hahahahaha too funny

Ok so unless your family or ppl I work with and see weekly then we are ALL randoms. When I grab the spark and back track to wait for team of non real life family or friends....(randoms to you) most of them push forward to the rift. So your point is??? Are u trying to talk don't to ppl bcus there not in a clan of RANDOMS (people u don't really know) .the shits common sense follow your blockers or fake and go opposite the team and when your 1v1 . You don't need to talk or design a play to get to the rift as long as you stop them and get distance +kills anybody can hold their own against randoms... Oops I meant clandoms

1 ReplyPeople tend to think of their teamates as idiots its sometimes true but in some cases people can play cooperatively without needing to communicate
-
One time I was turned in to Forrest Gump. I grabbed the spark and dodged enemy bullets and dunked the spark.
-
That's one strat, but if they are all over you, you need to get at least one distance node to come out on top of the exchange. What I've found works best is using your team as a distraction, if they push left, go right. All the enemy's are ads and you can slip in behind. If you don't have the spark, the same thing works. Was playing on the Mars cabal map and the runner was in top heavy room waiting for the team to head towards A. I cut through the building on the right with a shotty, enemy radar picked me up, everybody turned to now me down and the runner floated right over them for an easy slam.

lol my teams cant pave patheays for shit
-
Shhhh dont let them know that. Theyre in their own little world. Its cute to watch.
-
I personally don't run much but if I do I adjust depending on how spread out I think the enemy is. If they're spread out enough that I run into one or two guys I'm rushing blink wrecks people and makes it easy to do the back flip dunk. If they are clustered, I hang back, stay out of sight and let team mates carve a path for me.

I don't care about the post... The title wins 2016 thus far.

Best title ever lol

I agree and disagree. Sometimes you can get your team to successfully clear the path. But I've found it more effective to let them charge forward while I slip around the side. The number of times I've ran right behind the entire enemy team and dunked requires more than 2 hands lol. But you definitely don't want to go Rambo and charge forward trying to run through the enemy. Unless you have ammo for a machine gun. Then cut a path yourself lol.

3 RepliesBlink helps

5 RepliesYeah, give me a team that is actually helping. Not just sitting back and waiting to defend the rift so the other team can grab the spark. You want the spark people. So you get your ass out there and find the f****** spark.
