Any other solos out there hate IB right now?
Title says it all
Edit: It must be a great game mode when all I see is "we are breaking up those teams to find a better match".
By the way I am grinding this out as painful as it may be.

Its not too bad. I seem to do better solo than with my clan. Guess I need to quit hanging in the back and just take the damn thing and go!

1 ReplyAll I do is rush to score and my team mercy the other team and I get multi kills from scoring. It's really easy and cool and I play solo.

1 ReplyActually no. Met my future wife while playing Rift, ah bad joke. But on a serious note, no, it's not that difficult... What is difficult is when you are put against brazilians, Mexicans, UK players whom all seem to red bar... Like other Canada and US players, it's all green, but the rest... Red bar... Which sucks because, we lag, but they don't... I mean it's totally not suspicious a person from Brazil has 36 kills and 4 deaths right? I mean we just suck right? Like everyone can aim at a red bar who glitches all over the map... Yup... That's my only problem with Rift, I don't mind the mode at all, it's fun when you are the hero at times.

Thought the worst, got pleasantly surprised. My progress is about the same as last IB. Never played Rift before last night. I learned one thing. If your random team is focusing on kills only, just grab the damn Spark and go for broke! Distance points I got eventually won games and denied the opposition points. Even managed to put the biscuit in the basket a few times. Then again, it was only one night of play. Time will tell.

any IB control , clash or rift....solo is never been a better option than going in with a team you play with and communicate with.... that will never change and just because its rift does not make it any worse. Games are just over faster if one team is dominating because they will pick up objective the whole time and scoring will go much faster than control or clash. I would personally rather have it over faster than get beat on for 12 minutes in control or clash going in solo.

I just don't care for rift in general. I may slightly prefer control, but like clash over both.

4 RepliesLess than 24 hours in and I have all my Guardians at Rank 3 and that was just 2-3 hours each. After reading all the pre-posts which did make sense I was expecting anger and frustration but its just another IB event for me and something different. Winning most games and having fun so for me I don't see what the big deal is with all the hate.

Rift = Spawn Camping Because the mechanics of the Rift never flips the spawn, one team can easily take control of the middle of the map and push into the enemy area and kill people as they spawn. Not to mention since most heavy ammo spawns are in the middle of the maps, they get both drops. That makes the game to lopsided. An easy fix would be to reset the spawn after the rift is ignited.

I can't find a game. It always puts me in a match were the enemy team already has double the points as my team. Way to go with rift ya jaggoffs

Dude... I played 3 games yesterday solo. Lost all three. I got on destinylfg.com. Got on a fire team and won 6 in a row. And I GOT TO TALK TO PEOPLE while playing. I don't know why anyone would choose to play by themselves

Yeah, I'm despising it. I got put into three matches yesterday that I lost before I even loaded into the match. Free medallions, yay! The amount of ongoing games I'm put into is ridiculous. Especially since they're all while losing by 7-10,000 points.
