Are your K/Ds suffering because of SBMM?
I just want to know that I'm not the only one. My hunter's K/D went from a 1.54 to a 1.51 in about a week!

For me its not about my kd. I couldn't tell you if it gone up or down, ill i know is it probably pretty low. But for me its the lag that sbmm creates. If they could keep sbmm while eliminating the lag id be fine with it.

All fun and games until all the pros drop down to my kd and then I have to deal with their stupid attempts to get montage clips and I get qwikd scopd 750 ladder stalled 8 times a match. Then my kd drops and I go against scrubs who boost my kd back up to get it dropped again. Its going to turn into an infinite loop of me getting my shit pushed in

5 RepliesSo your KD is going down because you're fighting people the same skill level as you? Think about it. If you're fighting the same skill level of people, you're KD should be close to 1.0. Working exactly as intended.

I havn't had anything higher than 4.0, but I think I've played enough matches that I could let my 2 year old play for a week straight and still be at 1.4...

I'm going 0.4 - 0.5 many games, because nothing deals damage. I have red bar 97% of games, and it is most certainly not the type to make me immortal, I have yet to experience that.

Mine improved. I don't like it though, I liked stomping a game of "good" players and u liked the trade-offs. This just makes the game feel like work, like there's never a game I can just half ass for a laugh, and still succeed.

1 ReplyEveryone blames SBMM......SBMM is probably the best way to match players, as far as lag goes I have had 12 players all green 100% and as soon as the game starts everything goes to crap. Its not how they match you its the hardware and system Bungie is using to match you. As far as K/D I wouldn't get to concerned it really has little meaning now a days.

i dont care about kd, all I care about is having fun in crucible solo. all i run into are bladedancers with last word, skip nades and tarantella, and the sunsingers running full discipline and strength just getting flame shields every 30 seconds. its so annoying, theres a reason other games put skill based matchmaking in separate playlist. bungie is seriously so -blam!-ing stupid, how could such a great game developer go to absolute shit.

As a person who played like garbage in PVP when I started I rejoiced and patted myself on the back when I got up to 1.3 KD, now I'm back to 1.1.. sigh
