Are your K/Ds suffering because of SBMM?
I just want to know that I'm not the only one. My hunter's K/D went from a 1.54 to a 1.51 in about a week!

Yep all my gaming buddies are awesome at pvp, so when I play with them my kd is almost always below 1.0.

12 RepliesKD will reduce as you play against similar people. If you reset KDS today, and kept SBMM we'd all have KDs around 1.0 because we are playing with people at the same level.

Due to lag. I'm not having issues going against my skill level because I dick around in crucible to keep my destiny skill down

these have no correlation whatsoever.. but as my normal crucible KD falls, my trials KD keeps rising lool.. think i average a 1.70 over 100+ games this weekend on asylum.. xD

My thought is this- In a way, isn't SBMM just concentrating lag abusers and connection manipulators into the higher levels? The higher you get, the more of these you see. Factor that in with connections that are roughly 2k miles away from me and it starts to feel pointless.

7 RepliesYes. Before SBMM, I could easily average 2.0 kds at the end of a month. Since SBMM has been added, my kd went from 1.99, to 1.83. I've played against tW, Luminosity, AstDroid, CATFANONE, and several other streamers/you tubers. Every skirmish match I play is incredibly sweaty because I have above average stats.

I played a bunch of games last night and 7/8 of them I just tore people up. Like 3.0-5.33 kd's. But ever since SBMM my KD has dropped from 1.95 to around 1.88. My combat rating has gone down about 10 in every game mode and my ELO has moved to platinum for most modes because I don't play as much and it just deteriorates

Edited by zJDz: 1/25/2016 3:26:53 AMHa my skirmish and salvage k/d went from 1.6 to 1.2 in the last 3 weeks. My average k/d across all characters and game modes went from 1.25 to 1.17 and DTR went from 39 to 34. My Elo for trials usually hovers between 1500-1600 though.
