What the hell is wrong with the majority of you?
I've been playing destiny since week 2 of it's release. I joined this forums shortly after, and during the early days, it was a fantastic community.
I've gradually seen this whole community decline and turn incredibly sour.
To sum up the forums in it's current form....
- Nerf this gun it's too OP.
- Now nerf THIS gun as it's now OP due to past weapons being nerfed.
- Bungie suck. Boycott this event.
- Boycott THIS event. It's offensive because I think Bungie aren't trying hard enough.
- Bungie haven't released an update on the hour. They don't care about us. Boycott destiny.
- Optional micro transactions are here. How dare Bungie force me to buy items that are simply for cosmetic effect and have zero effect on the game.
- SRL is lame. Get rid of it!
- SRL needs to come back because we have nothing to do.
- Iron banner is ALWAYS control. We need different game modes.
- Boycott Iron banner. Bungie have changed the game mode to 'Rift' and I'm bad at rift so it should be control!
- I'm doing VOG. I need a team of all 320's. Must have black spindle, touch of malice and the Kings fall hard raid emblem.
- Noobs. You're a noob so here's an insult.
- You have a k/d below 1.0. You also get many insults!
- Teamwork and team tactics is cheating and must be banned!
- I was beaten by a better team? You're being reported for lag and cheating!
- YOU'RE USING A PARTICULAR WEAPON THAT WAS BUILT INTO THE GAME TO USE? AND YOU'RE GOOD WITH IT AND BEAT ME?! YOU'RE SUCH A SCRUB!
Simply guys - it's becoming pathetic. It's a god damn game that you've all bought, played, and bought the expansions knowing full well what to expect.
If you have this many complaints and you're as unhappy as you all make out, put the controller down and do something else. There's a whole world out there!
I personally enjoy playing destiny for what it is. I play it when I get the time to. I have fun playing with friends and it is a genuinely fun game, even if yes - it IS a bit repetitive.
The point of this post is to highlight how bad this forum has become (even though it has been highlighted many times before).
It's a game guys... Come on.

1 ReplyI've never played a game as much as I play destiny, enjoyed every minute of it! I would like some new content soon but I'm happy to play other games while I wait, and I still enjoy popping on to crucible every once in a while :)

That's what remains except for a few of course. There are still good people, just they are the minority. It's like a LoL or cod community now. Bunch of screaming and chaos and nerd raging lmafo

Same with some with some of Bungie's business tactics. I'm just not the kind of person that takes other people shit and eats it too. I see too many people on the forums that play this game with what they're dealt. If you like the game, show you care and say something. Don't take the shit and eat it too.

2 RepliesI pre-ordered this game not knowing what to expect but excited nonetheless, I played for 2 months thought the game overall was crap, never purchased any DLC because I knew it would be just as disappointing and I still post on the forums because people shouldn't pay money into a game that's whole business plan is to push players into buying very expensive DLC to get the story out of it's first game in a 10 year plan. I post here to tell others that supporting this kind of game will hurt console games in the future because other companies will want to follow in Activision's/Bungie's footsetps if Destiny is overwhelmingly successful. I don't want to be paying for DLC to get essential story-line points out of my game. I will buy a sequel but I won't buy DLC and I urge everyone else to do the same. Thank you for reading. P.S The forums have always been bad, you have only been here for a year so I can understand why you're shocked at how people act on these forums but believe me this is normal.

You are wrong for 2 reasons. 1. It hasn't gradually gotten worse, it's always been this way. 2. There are a lot of other posts. People are more drawn into the more click bait posts [b](Just like this one)[/b] and bump it by posting a comment instead of ignoring them [b](just like I'm not doing now)[/b]. Look at the forums with crap filters and you will find gold.
