Lets see im 51... my gaming buddy is my son age 19 ... be somewhere between the two ... and maybe we will talk
-
As an adult I want to have adult conversations when I play. That does not necessarily mean serious conversations btw.
-
Because y'all don't understand what it means to want to get shit done in a timely manner. Every time I played with a squeaker they always pulled stupid bullshit in the middle of an otherwise successful run and ruined everything just for the fun of it. They have no idea what it means that what's funny to them isn't funny to everyone else. They also have a nasty tendency to say "I'm not like other kids my age". But they are. So when you say you aren't, I don't believe you. I'm sorry.

What system u on
-
10 RepliesBecause raiding with kids is like raiding with a squirrel with ADD who's just done a ton of blow for the first time.
-
I lol'd @ "low, deep voice"
-
I don't want to be on the middle of a discussion with someone and accidentally ruin Christmas. Wouldn't be able to forgive myself.
-
As a 28 year old, I don't want to play with anyone under 20. It is weird.
-
I could care less whether it's a kid or adult. 9 out of 10 times though a kid won't be able to realize how to act.
-
1 ReplyNot everyone wants to play with kids. I'm 25 I prefer to play with others my age, simply because I'm going to drop an f bomb or -blam!- yes when I have a slick drag or quick scope. Or a burn mother -blam!-er when I fire bolt people. Plus the good old conversations about daily shit going on in life, that most kids simply don't understand or what to hear. And Vice versa when 13 year olds are bitching about teachers or homework or having their parents in the background telling them it's past their bed time. I don't want to hear that shit. I have a few kids on my list that I enjoy playing with, but they understand this shit and mainly understand mic etiquette, not spamming shit boy bands or whatever through the mic for everyone to listen to, eating, parents..whatever.

I remember first time we were going to do war priest hard challenge and we were on totems, we had one player down but where just about to complete and this 12 year old said "got to go" and before we could say anything he had left the fire team and we all died as there was the no one on that totem and we couldn't get there in time. Even if he had just left his character on and gone AFK we would have probably completed. He later explained his mum called him for Dinner! Also often with teenagers comes too much ego. I game with my nephew, he's 13, is a solid gamer and quite chilled out, a few of his friends are alright too, the rest of them give me brain freeze!!!

Edited by Reckless Grizzly: 1/20/2016 1:03:38 AMSome teens can be all right. For a long period (beginning in December 2014 until recently) I played with a 20 year old chick who turned 21 last April... her teen-like attitude was worst than my own niece who is 17 or even my nephew who is 14. So ironically, some teens can actually be more mature than young adults.
-
4 RepliesI'm 13 and I was playing with some 40 year olds. They said I don't know how to do the challenge. I explained it and we got it first try. Moral: not all teens are idiots
-
2 RepliesI'm 19. Only play with others 18+ for simple reason. They are not (most of the time) immature Lil punks. Granted I'd have to kick a few adults now and then for being a perv. But kids...they act like they know it all don't shut the hell up come out with complete nonsense and can't even admit when they do wrong in raids for example...and must I mention their voices?
-
"Looking to do fresh kings fall. No kids, otherwise you will be kicked"
Jks, who cares. As long as you don't cry and call everyone bad when you're dying the most
-
Me. If you feel like it, I'm in a clan and there are a few teens in it.
-
11 RepliesShut up, kid. Find people in your age group to play with and get the -blam!- over it. Whiny self-entitled little shits. But then you wonder why no sane adult wants to play with you.
-
Yeah hearing mom's screaming in the background and the random racial jokes am good.
-
16 and people think I'm an adult because you know... puberty actually happened and the whole maturity thing...
-
-
Nope, I'm 16, don't make things awkward, and I get things done. I've also matured quite early, and my voice is low, kinda makes me sound like I'm in my early 20s lolz. With younger children, they tend to say something stupid, (not all of them) and say remarks that shouldn't have been said, like "you suck", if the player dies once in a raid. It's annoying, but it's easy getting used to. I drown them out if I play with people younger than 12 lolz
-
It is a social experience. I want to hang out with other 40 year olds who have kids like you. I have a son your age. I don't see a problem.
-
Its really a matter of preference buddy. Sometimes adults talk about adult stuff that no child (sorry even though you are a teen you are still a kid) Dont be down about it. Form a group of players your age and game on man. Call your clan "Team Titans" or something. Hahaa. Best of luck buddy.
-
Hey I'm 16. OK it's a 3 year difference. It is but it's vital. I know right from wrong. I was playing a raid with a kid your age the other day, and when he joined the very first thing he said was "oh 312 such a low light". Not kidding. I still did better than him. I have a car and a job so I'm more considered a young adult. 11,12,13 are considered pre-teens in my opinion. Moral of the story, if you want to call yourself a teen, act like it.
-
Kids are loud, talk way too much, and say stupid annoying things. 90% of my clan is 26+ to eliminate the hyper teens and emo low 20's trying to find themselves
-
Well your post subject sure makes you SEEM mature...
