1 ReplyI totally agree with you. Vault of Glass was great for all the reasons you said. It really should be revamped for: 1. Better loot (year 2) 2. Challenge mode like the Kings fall 3. PLEASE READ THIS BUNGIE: Bungie if you're reading this) UNFORTUNATELY until the NO TIME TO EXPLAIN quest line came out (which was genius by the way) there was no reason to do Vault of Glass. Personally I still would have done it for fun, but year 2 players deserve the chance to do the old raids for the loot equivalent to the scale they were in year 1. Please like this post and let's see if BUNGIE replies :)

Guys just say that kings fall is the worst raid vault and Crota where so much more fun then kings fall people only do kings fall for the gear I did vault and Crota for fun the rewards anyway where better and you don't have to grind one raid forever to get a gun you like to 320 or armor

4 RepliesIt was a blast unless you had no gallys for the Gatekeepers. Or if there was someone in your party with a bad connection, then the Atheon fight would be glitchy as hell.

1 ReplyVoG was great because it was a good balance of teamwork and personal skill. You needed other people to hold sync plates or defend confluxes, but you also had to be able to hold your own. Sure you could carry people or solo some parts, but it mostly required some teamwork. CE was the one where everything could really just be done by one person. The bridge is the only part that requires any kind of coordination, but everyone just cheesed it. KF swung far the other way where there are lots of places that require coordination to the point where there isn't as much personal achievement. VoG had the right balance, which is why it was so fun.

3 RepliesI'm jealous that you have fond memories of VoG. It interests me to hear how the game felt at the time. How it might differ from the the way I feel it as a Taken King only player. I hear about the forever 29 feel. I don't know, but I'm not too worried for reaching 320.

Yeah, I miss VoG. I ran it again with some friends a while back (Racing gear only!), but it just isn't the same when the chance for good loot is gone.
