Stay the -blam!- out of the crucible. You make the game unenjoyable for everyone.
Edit: So I see I seem to have rub some people the wrong way. I admit I made this post while a little salty and maybe should have made the title a little more clear. So here you go: If you knowingly have a poor connection stay out of the crucible.
To the ones saying I don't know what P2P is I do. The reason I say stay out of the crucible is that if you are the host you will cause your team to lag due to your bad connection. Therefore making the experience for EVERYONE unenjoyable.
Edit 2: For those who are criticizing my stats. No I do not play everyday nor have I put 1000s of hours into this game. I have a life. I have 2 jobs, a wife, and a son who I put before video games. But when i do play I would like be able to enjoy it.

4 RepliesDestiny has an issue where you have to change to your wireless broadcast to 54mb otherwise you end up with problems on Wi-Fi if you have higher speeds. Maybe ask Bungie why this is a problem instead?
-
Bungie makes it unenjoyable for everyone. Most people on Wi-Fi dont have an issue what so ever when playing other games. Get on destiny and regardless of your super light speed fast connection .... your redbarring. Its a joke
-
1 ReplyOnly problem with this My internet speed is high 30mbs I have no problems with lag etc on any game Mmos, moba's and so and so I play destiny fine with a solid connection but every now and then I red bar, wired connection this is the only game I play on any platform that I ever red at on

I used to be very anti Wi-Fi... Until I had no other option when I moved in with my girlfriend. Couldn't run wires. I get better connection (ping to server) than I did wired at my old place. Full bars, 5ghz 802.11ac... Really no difference compared to wired since the connection to the Xbox server is the weakest link. I tested with a 25ft cable and the connection is 89ms to the nearest Xbox server with either connectivity option. I am sure that there are a lot of poorly setup wired networks that perform worse. And many Wi-Fi arrangements are horrible as well... But you cannot blanket Wi-Fi. It has evolved leaps and bounds of what it was even a couple years ago. Granted, many are still using n or g, which will lag more... But people that know what they are doing with the network can make up for being wireless.

Well why don't you stop telling people what to do regarding crucible and internet connections, and work your two -blam!-ing jobs mr. low-income.

It has been a shitty week for me. My Internet is so -blam!-ed up right now I refuse to pay my Internet provider this month. They can suck on my cock and choke on it those cheap bastards couldn't afford a wash at the laundry mat let alone buy a pack of ramen noodles.

What's wrong with wi-fi?
-
1 ReplyI report every red bar in crucible for bad connection multiple times
-
Preach!!!
-
1 ReplyA lot of the problem is that bungie thinks that we should have skill based matchmaking of sorts and pairs us up with people across the ocean all the time
-
1 ReplySorry... I thought using a potato covered in peanut butter would help me win in the crucible. Instead, it blew up my XB1. Then it preceded to wipe out an entire family of squirrels.
-
4 RepliesOp is poor. Has a hard-line connection because he's only got one TV and its next to the modem.
-
Stats have nothing to do with this post so idk why ppl would attack that. But those red bars though, dang ppl be blinking everywhere...
-
My Wi-FI is 60 down and 12 up so GTFO here with that.
-
Well i use wifi and play alot of bf4 other online shooters witch are all fine blame bungie p2p servers mate and not players
-
Some red bars are so because they are in another country and bungies shitty match making allowed you to play some one in a different country making the match have terrible ping
-
2 RepliesAnd what if I have bad connection and I want to play? Deal with it
-
It's more then a salty post. First thoughts was -blam!- you too And then I was like yeah still go -blam!- yourself I enjoy the crucible and at times its BS laggy but most times its good but I purchased the game so why can't I also play it
-
I use WiFi. On every device in my home usually. Great ping and great download and upload. I am not sure what you mean.
