7 RepliesEdited by stevieBOIxx: 1/22/2016 1:32:47 AMA doctor shaved my ass and stuck a cotton swab up a hole above my butthole while two medical students were watching and taking notes, all while my mother was sitting next to me watching You don't know degrading until your ass is being stared at by four people and it's being used as a medical lesson More details, sorta gross:
So, the docs weren't sure whether I have had it my whole life, or it just showed up. I discovered it while showering and soap managed to come into contact with it and it stung really badly. Then it started to bleed. It wasn't a lot of blood but enough where it started showing up on clothes. I got sent to a specific doctor who might be able to help. Long story short, it was assumed that I've had it for some time. Until that point, it went unnoticed. However, being that I'm a guy and have hair on my ass, some of the hair lodged itself inside the hole. After some time the hair irritated the hole and it started to bleed. Aaaaand here comes the painful part. The doctor had to clean the hole so it could heal, so he had to stick a cotton swab inside and clean it. I can still feel the pain.
7 RepliesWhen I was in 4th grade, I had really bad allergies, so my parents took me to get tested for my allergies. In order to test what I was allergic to, the doctor had to literally stick me full of needles. 20 shots in each arm with a longer than usual needles so that the allergins got into my system, and either 40 or 60 little pricks up and down my back. I cried so hard that day. Still is one of the worst experiences of my life

Getting stitches removed on my birthday was a bitch

7 RepliesNot exactly super painful but someone trying to put in an IV when they can't can't find a vein in your arm. They move the needle around in your arm trying to find it. Wasn't very fun. I really haven't been in to the doctor's for very much stuff so that's the worst I've had.

Volunteer nurse put the needle in my arm wrong to hook me up to IV fluid and a few tablespoons of blood came out. I was recovering from severe dehydration after a parade. 90℉ 80% humidity in a wool uniform for 2 miles

Wisdom teeth removal even though it was only for the day of that it hurt notably bad.

Well catheters hurt like hell when they go in but that's not the most painful thing. The most painful thing that happened to me was when I was about 10. I had a in grown hair in my butt so I went to the doctor. She put this freeze spray on it which didn't do shit and then took a scalpel and started carving the ingrown hair out of me. She was cutting into my anus, I was 10 so I was screaming in pain.

I had this weird tumor on my back (this big nasty red spot) and I had to have it surgically removed. I was 11 at the time and I dreaded the day for weeks. I got in the room and I had to lay down and I saw the doctor and he had this HUGE needle and it was stuff to numb my back. I had to sit in agony for over a minute having him stick that in my back. Ugh.

Growing up with a heart problem there are so many times I've been hurt by a doctor... Thats why I have such a high pain threshold now, I have to otherwise I'd be bed ridden right now.. But the most painful thing was probably when they take the fluid tubes out of my chest whilst I'm awake with nothing but paracetamol to help and them stitch the hole back up. One of the tubes even scraped my rib on the way out which totally freaked me out :')

2 RepliesGetting jabbed in the mouth with novocain about 12 times. For one wisdom tooth. I made sure I was not awake for the last 3. Now I have a fear of needles.

8 RepliesHad this thing growing on my upper lip, some kind of wart I think, we had to freeze it off. For those who don't know what I mean, they spray this liquid at it (liquid hydrogen or nitrogen, I can't remember) and it immidiatly drops the temperature to below freezing, at first it numbs and you think "hey, this isn't so bad" and then the burning pain starts, the temperature causes immidiate death to the cells it touches and you can feel it as the skin on and around the growth dies. For something so cold I can't beleive it burned so much
