Year 2 players will never understand..
Whether it be we were all kinderguardians at one point or another, but year 2 players will never understand the struggle of the thorn bounty.
Dashing and sliding, blinking and floating to your nearest enemies to pump a deadly shot of your void matador 64, etc into your enemies. Or spraying down your foes with your atheons epilogue while you laugh at their demise. Even making a occasional run to the heavy ammo box while ducking and weaving incoming enemy fire just to get ammo for your truth.
To randomly panic novabomb a enemy guardian and retreat to safety while their oblivious ashes float off to space. Or even cowering in your own Titan bubble while fending off the opposition.
This is just one of the things year 2 players will never understand.

Was forced to use shitty void fusion rifle. Then I got hands on against all odds. Never again, will I cry when I get the thorn bounty.

I did the thorn bounty with the year one New Monarchy rocket launcher... I HAD NO OTHER VOID GUNS! So I just did what I did until heavy spawned (this was back when you could actually get a few rockets and not 2-3) and I had clown cartridge so is get an extra shot and I would make sure I got the kills... I got stuck at 95-98% at the end but I finally got a rocket kill after 100 games of being stuck! It was glorious!

9 months from now: [i]Year 3 players will never know the struggle for the chaperone bounty[/i]. On a serious note, the Thorn bounty made me to the pvp player i am now. This is my first console FPS, took me 4 months for the crucible part. That was a long time ago.

Dude I don't even remember how long that took me. I remember I ran it on my warlock and probably used a fusion rifle. I vaguely remember running the crucible part of that quest. Then I vaulted thorn for a while and dismantled it because it sucked. 6 round mag, really? And had to complete the quest again after the dark below.
