New Star Wars video game idea
You start off with 2 teams ( republic and separatists ) every player starts of with a fully customized Jedi or sith,
( Jedi can put clone armor on )
Jedi and sith can have any lightsaber hilt or color, in the beginning , you start with ether a blue or green regular lightsaber, you get different colors and different hilts by leveling up.
You can only dual weld regular lightsabers and saber staffs ( double bladed lightsabers )
Guard shoto hilts are dual weld only
The leveling system is just 1,2,3 and so on.
4 game modes: campaign, war, saber battle ( looking for a better name ) and duel
War is 3v3 big battle
Each player commands 5 tanks ( at-te for republic and aat for separatists ) 15 aircrafts and 50 ground troops, use d-pad to control them
Saber battle is 6v6 Jedi and sith only battle
Duel is 1v1 battle
If you and a enemy attack each other at the same time, you engage in a saber lock, who ever taps A faster wins ,the winner forces the loser back
When you attack an enemy Jedi or sith, it looks like an actual lightsaber battle, not just swinging at each other

3 RepliesThat could work, sounds similar to the upcoming For Honour game... and I must admit I already had the thought that that game with Jedi would be awesome. Your description of the War mode sounds a little optimistic; if every player gets 10 tanks, 30 aircraft and 100 troops that's 60 tanks, 180 aircraft and 600 ground troops in the match in total which is a huge amount for a system to keep track of. There would have to be of each type of unit on the field at any one time to keep in manageable.

All I'm gonna say is there is a lot of cool stuff you could do for a new republic commando game and I'd love to see that on frostbite 3 engine but not made by EA

1 ReplyI think naughty dog should make Star Wars. With a real story that follows the movies. I would rather have a story only star wars than a mp only star wars. Why? because I like the movies and would like to experience the movies first hand.
