Hey Guardians! Deej here and I got the Bungie live team with me and we're getting ready to make a major announcement about what lies ahead for the rest of Y2 in Destiny. Cozmo is still sleeping in off after a epic drink off with Luke Smith at Bungie's annual "End of Year: We screwed'em over" holiday party, so if he gains consciousness I'm sure he'll attempt to say hello, but don't hold your breathe, he was last seen passed out with his pants down while sitting on a Xerox machine. Now about the major announcement! It's a big one and to prove it the live team is hear with me. We've hardly been able to stay away, knowing about what's to come. Hey, Deej here! The team and I are going to be dropping something you have wanted for a whole year now. Private lobbies! Heres how it works. The Crucible vendors will begin selling a buff that allows you to take place in a private lobby. These will be sold for just 5 silver but you must buy them before armsday. Then, you must wait until Wednesday to use it. The buff can only be used once only on armsday (private matches can not be played on any other day) and is only good for one match, to discourage boosting. After you play your match, you must go back to the tower the next day to buy another buff and wait until next week. You've asked for it and we finally repaid you for all your support. MM/DD/YYYY - The one that got Deej Fired Hey what's up guys (and galls) it's Cosmo here and everyone at Bungie HQ hopes you had as much fun during the holidays as we did (some of us a little too much) anyway, after a certain incident involving lots of alcohol (of which I'm still not old enough to drink) I will now be taking over Deej's spot on giving out the weekly updates. About that crucible... We have had plenty of time to gather data on the issues that you, our most loyal players have been experiencing in the crucible and should have some fixes underway soon. (At least that is what I was told to tell you) What's next? Due to popular request, we will be bringing back the original queen's wrath event, with some minor changes, you will still be picking up your bounties from Petra, and they will still get you a token to do a random story mission on epic level 290 light recommended difficulty, but your rewards will be some sweet y2 queens wrath gear! A whole set in fact! (No we weren't just sitting on this because we needed to save it for a latter date to prolong the game content to milk our player base even more) what's more the tokens can also be purchased in 6 packs for 100 silver each, as well as some other exclusive goodies that I would be thrown into the pit of broken glass and other pointy objects if I told you about them (like Deej) The event will start this Valentine's Day and last for one week only, so fight hard guardian! I just hope it mentions that Vault of Glass, Crota's End and Prison of Elders will be brought to Year Two status along with the loot available!!!! For this to happen, there has to be some compromise. - Remove Burns from Primaries except Vex and Necrochasm. - Everything has to be obtained again. - Replace Crux of Crota with the Necrochasm to make things a little less complicated. - [u][b]Maybe[/b][/u] change Necrochasm to Void Burn to coincide with Zhalo Supercell and Vex Mythoclast. - Remove White Nail from Black Hammer, buff the mag to 6 and apply Triple Tap instead. - Keep Ascendant Materials/Radiant Materials for trading with the Speaker (cha-ching). - Gear can only drop at 300 making Heroic KF, Trials and IB a requirement to get VoG/CE/PoE gear to 320! - Add new Emblems for Year Two VoG/CE/PoE completions, even just change the color of the currents ones to show you completed the Year Two version! - Year Two Exotics drop from Chests/certain Bosses (Gorgon Maze, Atheon, Deathsinger, Crota) at 290 or 310 depending on [b]your[/b] Light Level. - Bring remaining Exotics to Year Two status, even Gjallarhorn, its not like people are struggling without it. Make Normal Mode VoG/Crotas End have a 290-300 Light requirement Make Hard Mode VoG/Crota's End have a 310-320 Light requirement Rename "Level 32" to "Easy Mode PoE" - 290-300 Light Requirement (Armor Cores etc.) Rename "Level 34" to "Normal Mode PoE" - 300-310 Light (Weapon Cores etc.) Rename "Level 35" to "Hard Mode PoE" - 310-320 Light (Armor and Weapon Cores etc.)
