I feel the nerf was too severe. Ive heard titans complaining about hammers not even taking away half a guardians health on a direct hit.
I dont main a titan I main a warlock but I thought the only change needed for the sunbreaker was for the damage resistance to be nerfed to 50%.

4 RepliesEdited by InSatanWeTrust: 1/11/2016 1:57:30 AMYeah you hit a guy doesn't kill them I got a message from some German idiot saying I was bad with the hammer I replied you know I hit you and it got nerfed hard and sent him the video. He never replied back the idiot

1 ReplyI get one shot by hammers shit seems fine to me. You're not indestructible anymore I don't see that as a problem
-
8 RepliesIt was a balance. Not a nerf. They increased some stats and lowered some others. I wish people stopped describing it as a nerf. If they didn't increase velocity of the jump and the range of the melee, it'd be a nerf over all. But since they also took into account for negatives which they fixed, it's a balance...
-
But not too much.
-
The only thing people complained about was the armor everting else was fine but bungie just killed hammers
-
Yes,flameseeker tracking needs to be bumped up,an forgemaster explosions need to be bumped up 10%. Cauterize is fine as is,it needed that nerf.
-
8 RepliesEdited by Dexter307: 1/10/2016 8:42:05 PMNo, it's fine as it is. Run suncharge or shimmering flame for pvp
-
I do think the nerf was a little too much, but I pretty much only use Suncharge anyways because it is so fun and kills everything in one hit except for an Armor of Light Defender Titan. In my opinion, I agree with the armor reduction but they only should have reworked the skill tree because Sunbreakers could have had Forgemaster and Cauterize at the same time. I feel they should have to choose between one or the other to balance it.
-
The only thing they should have done was reduced the armor. That's it. Tracking and splash damage don't even exist anymore.
-
1 ReplyI want cauterize back. It's no fair that my hammer of sol takes more hits then my ArcBlade and can only heal one ever blue moon.
-
They added a larger proximity detonation, making them blow before they actually hit the target.
-
I was using HoS in ToO yesterday and it still felt pretty good to use.
-
6 RepliesYou've heard something from a biased source so that means it must be true right?
-
4 RepliesYeah, HoS needs a rebuff bad, it's kinda depressing watching them trey to kill anything now.
-
4 RepliesId rather have it over nerfed than overpowered
-
1 ReplyEveryone saying no is retarded, hammer of sol is a joke of a subclass, only worth using to clean up trash mobs.
-
1 ReplyThey are so bad now in crucible. They were OP before but now are terrible. I imagine if Bungie look at their stats, which is how they seem to analyse things rather than just playing the game, they will see the lower percentage of people of using them, lower KD, and less super kills for this class. They are just terrible now. What a waste. In the meantime, stormcallers continue to be ridiculous - landfall with stormcaller in particular is a joke.
-
Edited by Walrus Walter: 1/10/2016 3:42:20 PMIt's the hit detection. They need to fix the hit detection, not buff the hammer. It's perfectly balanced, but the probablem is the hit detection issue everyone is experiencing
-
5 RepliesBro it's balanced now. You actually have to look when you throw your hammers. Your punished for spamming. Damage reduction is in line with other supers.
-
Yes. Bring everything back to how it was; but halve the damage resistance, or just have all class supers have the same damage resistance. So nobody can bitch anymore.
-
It needs a in-between nerf, not as bad as launch but not at it's current state. It needs to have mobility improvements and a little bit more super time.
-
Bump !!!!!
-
2 RepliesNah it's
balanced!
-
Fix the -blam!-ed up shit with the hammers and slightly reduce cool down for cauterize and it will be good
-
Edited by Kone19ps: 1/10/2016 3:11:39 AMNo they just need to fix the hammers. Right now the blast radius is too small for the proximity so they are exploding too far away to kill even on direct hits
-
1 ReplyJust keep the armor where it is and a slight decrease in the current cauterize cooldown would do it. Everything else can go back to what it was.
