3 of Coins Are Garbage
25 three of coins used and only one exotic...and it was a chest price...that I've gotten 7 times. I've used roughly 200 in the past few months and have only gotten one primary drop and 15 drops total...being things I will never use or already have. Anyone have recommendations?

4 RepliesYou know what I've found out, using the 3 of coin when you get into the oryx fight, every time you go in to the shadow of oryx use one. It's been so high the ratio for me, I've gotten 7 today just from helping friends doing raid and also got my twilight garrison!

1 ReplyGarbage is right. I've only been getting gloves and boots when I want chests and primaries. Plus, for every 10 I use I might get one. I know some people that use 20 and get like 5 or 6 pretty consistently. WTF

How are you using your three of coins . If you use them all at once you won't get a lot . If you use one at a time and space out how often you use them you probability of getting an exotic engrams goes up allot

3 RepliesI usually get something every 5 or 6 coins but this weekend it averaged at about 10 . Maybe they changed it again or I'm not as lucky this week .

6 RepliesEdited by darlo0161: 1/9/2016 11:21:55 PMMine work. Here's what I do if you cannot be bothered with strikes. Black garden mission, play it all the way through to the end. The bit where all the bed wake up and start shooting. When the first of the three statues wakes up...go to orbit. You can now resume that mission at any time, kill the first statue with a ToC equipped. And then return to orbit. As long as you don't kill the third statue the game save will always take you to the first statue. Now whenever you arrive into destiny pop a ToC and kill the statue. Whenever you have been in crucible or are returning to the tower just jump in. I promise you it works. Just remember to leave 10 minutes between ToC and only use 1 at a time.

Quit buying them then! If I have them I use them when I remember... Simple as that! No need to cry over a simple task that may or may not land you an exotic.

Just had two drops in 3 coins and the second was twilight garrison. First was on a crucible match, went to tower cashed it in then went to dreadnaught and used second on ultra knight (got nothing). Had a break then jumped into crucible, first match back I got twilight garrison.

i use all my 3 of coins in, iron banner. trials and just regular crucible matches....the drop rates are much better

Your not using it correctly, 1)use 1 when boss is half dead. 2)Don't die 3) exotic dropped. Problem solved.....

Used 2. Got 3 exotics. Go figure [spoiler]Not 2 in total but in a row in this case. Exotics seem to drop much more frequently when you pop it when the boss is at about 50% health and you make the final hit [/spoiler]

Used 6 through two Trials runs. Two exotic chests. Crest of Alpha Poopy for hunter and then I got the Garrison :D

Using three of coins in crucible seems to be good to the drop rate of exotic engrams for me.

I've gotten two exotics in the span of two days don't use hen one after the other do crucible and don't do it every time scrub
