Just looking to get the opinions of those who want the stormcaller nerfed, then add my personal counterargument. IMO I think it to be balanced

6 RepliesDecrease super duration with transcendence by 1-2 seconds. Decrease energy used by ionic blink to compensate for less meter because it's crucial.

because every piece of donkey doo who doesnt know how to pvp is taking reservations on the scrubtrain to nerfville because they get killed using stupid tactics and blame it all on game mechanics or weapons and not their own play style and lack of teamwork

I didn't hear one peep about stormcallers before the Sunbreaker nerf, nothing about MIDA before last weapon balancing, nothing about snipers before the shotgun nerfs. Basically all the pvp players that are not good on here cry and moan about anything that kills them, if it kills them enough for them to remember the name. Grow up, it's just a game. Also stormcaller is fine, and I hardly even touch my warlock so I'm unbiased.

4 RepliesLandfall is all that needs touched. Its kill radius is a lot larger than it is meant to be, and nowhere does it state that it blinds. Don't understand why the blind is there because the super is basically a free FoH + Saint 14 at that point.

6 RepliesStorm Caller absolutely needs to be nerfed. During IB I can't tell you how many times I was killed by it. You can't get close enough to kill them with a shotgun, and you don't have enough time to pull out a sniper because the range of it is ridiculous, not to mention it lasts an eternity. Buffing everything up to be able to stop a storm caller is pointless. Nerf a little range and some of the duration or just nerf half of its duration. I'd be fine with either.

1 ReplyRemove the landfall blind effect at least, or give that to strikers too. Once titans do a fist of havoc, we're usually dead afterwards, and certainly can't blink around the map for 20+ seconds with extra armour killing everything....

3 RepliesThere isn't a lot wrong with it, but it needs the smallest nerf I've ever seen. So, don't kid yourself Warlocks, Stormtrance is pretty piss-easy to use. Move forward, hold RT, get kills. I've seen plenty of people who were bottom of the team activate Stormtrance at the right time and wipe teams because of this. There's a small problem with this. Stormtrance leaves no reaction time at all. Hammer? Dodge around and shoot. Nightstalker? Sprint away from the tether. Bladedancer? Shotgun-melee, or jump in the air a bunch. Golden Gun? Shoot it. No damage resistance is granted to them. Nova Bomb/Fist of Havoc? Get out of the way. Bubble/Scumsinger? Pffffft. I don't have to tell you that one. Now, Stormtrance? Snipe it. Unless they have cover and/or Ionic Blink, which they usually have at least one of. Shotgun it? You wanna get close to Emperor Palpatine? Unless you're a douche packing Invective or something similar, it isn't happening. Fusion blast it. Pfffffff... hahahaha! Charge times screw you over, and even then it usually takes two blasts to kill the thing. Your most effective option is to waste your own Super on it, and even THEN it won't work more often than not if you're a Sunbreaker, Bladedancer, Sunsinger, or Defender. Hell, even Golden Gun has a startup time that can be exploited by someone in Stormtrance. Thus, a little, infinitesimal nerf is in order. I propose a small increase in time between damage ticks for [u]players[/u] being hit by the lightning. TL;DR: Stormtrance is more difficult to counter than any other super, either buff other supers or add slightly more time between Stormtrance lightning ticks to allow a fighting chance like every other Super, but not overly much of a chance.

4 RepliesI don't know why people complain about them so much. I played a good amount of crucible last night and I shut down storm callers with a breeze. It's simple just snipe or shot gun them. If storm callers get a nerf then I'm actually done with this game.

1 ReplyI don't think it needs a nerf necessarily but maybe make it so each kill with transcendence active drains a bit of super energy. I've gone on sprees where I've scored 10 kills in storm trance, but I do think the super compensates for the shitty grenades and jumps and mobility

That is all. Edit: also too long. I think stormtrance with transcendence lasts 26 seconds... Making it 18 - 22 seconds would be better. And also transcendence should HEAL you like apotheosis veil. Not just magically give you full health. If I damage you to a sliver of health, and you use your super, I should be able to finish you off. It's like that with literally every other super. So why not transcendence?
