Time to Squash The Elephant In The Room, When I Say Elephant I Mean The Division
I'm seeing alotta people open arms about The Division saying its gonna make Destiny customers jump ship, LMAO, I played the alpha it sucked monkey ballsss, stop comparing it to Destiny. First of all there is only one small area before missions that you can see other players in your instance kinda like a tower, that's it. Other than that theres a waypoint arrow showing you where to go like in the game The Crew and this game isn't even Open World at all... It is a third person cover and shoot game, imagine Army of Two with a waypoint arrow and you have The Division.

Also even if you don't follow the Division and saw the trailer you would know that it was a third person cover based game. People compare it to Destiny because it's a shared world loot based game. Also FYI destiny isn't either an open world game. Your points are so invalid and I am not even on the division hype train

I had high hopes for the division. Then I saw it was delayed by 2 years, then I played it EGX and though it was basically gears of war meets Tom Clancy. Which should be good, but it wasn't. So I'm going to wait till the reviews come out. And I'm still waiting for my beta.

People compare The Division to Destiny because of the loot system. More than half the stuff you said was wrong plus it was an Alpha. Did you expect the entire map to be open?

13 RepliesIt looks fun but I wanted a good story with a survival world. That was not what we got at all. It has a SILENT MAIN CHARACTER and every enemy is a total BULLET SPONGE. We'll see how it turns out though.

I remember I melee a homeless bum on the side of the street and he laid down dying then started to glitch out and flew into nothing and disappeared

It is open world. You have to set a way point if that's where you want to go. Otherwise you can wander throughout up to the set borders.

3 RepliesI haven't really seen any people super hyped, more like hyped with a healthy amount of skepticism. By one that's relying on alpha footage to say the game sucks really needs to stop though. Not liking a game is one thing, liking it and then deciding you hate it based on Alpha is stupid. Go look up "Heroes of the Storm" alpha footage and then look at a Heroes of the storm video released in the last 2 months. They're nothing alike. I got into the alpha for the game, then the beta, then continued into the release and it really improved. Graphics, art, mechanics, balance, added content etc.
