2 RepliesI have only done the cheese twice. The first time was to see if it really made it easier and just to test it out for shits and giggles. The second was with a group that had been doing it for awhile and knew the strat. In all honesty I don't care if they cheese it as long as the two totem holders knew what they were doing. The only time I hate cheesing is during crota bridge when you have a full fireteam of 6. That and atheon being pushed. Those 2 cheeses were such a time waster. So cheesing to me is great if it saves time or helps a carry. However, I wouldn't call the group that knew how to do the cheese as scrubs. They were probably the most effecient group I've been with in kf hard mode. Never wiped until oryx because some of the players were tired and we had to pick up randoms to finish. I will go with the flow if I join a raid team that is effecient.

1 ReplyIf you cheese totems it's more for the fun of doing the cheese then anything. It's a pretty fun cheese tbh. I like just tearing through the adds in the center and just passing the aura on and off like right next to the plate, looks cool and it's fun to kill.

Or people can play how they want. If you're in a group that doesn't suit your play style, leave and join a group that does. If I play with a group that I have done it the normal way with, cheese can be pretty interesting to mix things up. Some people use cheese, because they've gotten bored with the normal way.

Did it once, had never heard of it until a lfg guy showed my group. It was interesting not no easier or faster than the regular method so I doubt we'll do it again. Cheesed the maze last night for giggles, but I'm glad that there isn't a raid-breaking cheese and you're forced to complete the fights (mostly) as intended

I didn't even know you could cheese this until last week in a pick up group. They insisted on cheesing it, so I insisted that they were a bunch of scrubs and left. I mean seriously? I've done this with five people.

I had a guy in an lfg group say he doesn't want to play with people who don't know how to cheese totems by now. He literally said that.

I just found out yesterday you can "cheese" it. Was interested in how it worked so we did it. I prefer the regular method. It's not really a "cheese" so to speak. Everyone is still vulnerable and can die just as easily as doing it normally. But I get your message.
