43 RepliesIn skirmish that's one thing. Its understood by a lot in that game type. Its chivalry. Trials, is different. Trials is win by all means. Throw sand in the enemy's eyes, kick him in the crotch, and grab heavy ammo

I love reading all the posts from kids who are like "Hurdadur I don't care I'll take heavy and laugh cuz ur bad and stoopid if you don't use heavy". I literally laughed my ass off that these kids. I'm not the best at Crucible, but heavy takes no skill to kill with and that's a fact.

Edited by Recon SR2: 1/8/2016 10:38:52 PMI feel as though a lot of people have misunderstood your post. You were simply being informative, telling them what a "Wave" at the start of a Heavy Round means. You aren't saying that if the enemy team waves, you must leave your heavy alone. If they wave, it is a proposition from the other team to play without Heavy Ammo that round. Whether or not you choose to oblige them and play without Heavy Ammo is up to you. You can: 1) Wave back, and play without Heavy Ammo that round, and trust that they will do the same. 2) Grab Heavy and play as you normally would. They will likely do the same. 3) Wave back, trick them into thinking you're leaving it alone, then grab Heavy Ammo anyways. 4) Whatever else you people can think of. It's not a demand, or some Honor Code that is being imposed upon you guys. He's just explaining what a wave means the other team is suggesting, and that you can make a decision on whether or not to oblige them.

Only fair fights the one you walk away from -Jesus Maybe. I might be off on that quote.

I hope this doesn't apply for IB. My entire fire team was waving at the beginning of every match. We were greeting our opponents and also saying " Get ready for the slaughter that it's about to happen" so if it means waving heavy I apologize to every lost soul that we took this IB.

Sounds dumb
-
Umm no lol I'm picking up Heavy, switching to my Truth, and I'm going to kill you with my "scrubby" tracking, Grenades and Horseshoes Rocker Launcher. There is no disadvantage when everyone has Heavy.
-
If you're not down to wave off heavy, then don't wave back. It's simple. It's an offer, which can be refused. It's only a dick move if you wave then pick up heavy.

15 RepliesThis is one of the dumbest post I've ever seen regarding pvp.

18 RepliesEdited by SILVAAHBAAK: 1/8/2016 7:57:50 PMQuite frankly, I would propose that Destiny introduces a second style of ToO that can be worked into the rotation somehow - one where there are NO SUPERS AND NO HEAVY if you REALLY want to have a purely competitive slugfest. I am not being facetious, I really think that'd be a good idea. Just guardians, tactics, and their weapons! No supes - no heavies. May the best team win! Call it a "DARWIN MATCH" or something...lol Thoughts?
-
I too though this was known to more than a few people. Guess not
-
7 RepliesLmao you have to be kidding. You can wave all you like I'm picking my Rocket ammo up. Actually laughed out loud at this.
-
Maybe in Trials, but all other modes have randoms. Won't work.

Edited by Breh: 1/8/2016 10:05:56 PMLet's Dark Soul this.

17 RepliesIf at anytime during the match I point, wave twice, point again, then dance, it means I am doing the Imprecation "precision kills in the Crucible" quest part and everyone in the opposing team needs to stop immediately and let me get headshots
-
1 ReplyTeam 1 player 1: "Wave to them and see if they don't want to use heavy" waves Team 2 player 1: "WTF they waving for?" Team 2 player 2:"It's to say they won't use heavy, I will wave back" waves Team 1 player 1:"They waved back, lets do it" Team 1 player 1 and 2 takes heavy Team 2: "WTF??? Quick take the heavy" Team 1 player 3 takes enemy heavy Team 2: "WTF??? U WAVED A$$HOLES"
-
Oh, and here I thought it meant: "Hi, I'm going to use whatever I can to kill you as easily as possible"
-
Winning heavy round is an art so no I will not just leave it alone
-
I'll ignore such behaviour. Win by any means nessesary (other than cheating). If you don't want a DO Launcher aimed at you, pick up the heavy ammo before I do.
-
We all know this, we just don't care. Wait till Destiny makes private games for this.
Bwahahahaha
-
2 RepliesAnd I will just grab it and then kill them with it and laugh... silly kids not using heavy is for kids...
-
1 ReplyIt means some suckers are about to get heavy jacked.
-
5 RepliesEdited by SilasDarko: 1/8/2016 6:48:04 PMK, have fun waving. I'll grab Heavy. I'm not going to nerf myself for your sense of self righteousness. This ain't Dark Souls.

12 RepliesHere is why I disagree with this...equal playing field crap. First of all we all know the Truth is probably the most efficient heavy weapon to use in Trials. Having a Heavy Round makes you have to be tactical..That's RIGHT... You either have to unequip your Last Word, or MIDA, or whatever exotic you have to put on the truth. I also like the idea of rushing heavy, Sniping heavy, or tripmining it. Heavy Round changes the momentum of a match. It's like a halftime if you will. How many times have you been up 3-0. Then all of a sudden you lose heavy round...and the momentum changes to the other team and it's tied 3-3 or 4-4. Heavy Round brings a twist to the match.
-
Haven't seen this I'll watch for it
-
So that's what that means. All this time I've been thinking "Fukk those assholes, they're taunting us already. The round hasn't even started yet! I know its 3-0 but still!"
