That helmet should grant Shadestep for all the hunter subclasses, wouldn't that be nice? Most def' not OP.
I may be wrong because i don't have a Titan, but that titan chestpiece can make you evade when using all titan subclasses?
Correct me if i'm wrong with that titan chest, and sign if you agree with the helmet getting useful for hunter.
I didn't think about combine blink with shadestep, that would be too OP and not work at all..
What I mea also is that shadestep feels like a normal thing for a character called Hunter

The difference being it grants an node in the subclass just like the landfall for storm caller so even if it's not an evasive thing you it grants it to all subclasses for a hunter the same should happen for gear for Titans and warlocks
-
2 RepliesOf course, a bladedancer with blink and shadowstep
-
4 RepliesThat's cool, but hey... Can Helm of Inmost Light grant shoulder charge to all subclasses?
-
I disagree. If you read the description for the perk on TG, it gives you the ability to evade in the air. If you then read the perk on Graviton it grants shadestep which to me, it means, it unlocks that perk for free. If the subclass does not have shadestep, it has no perk to grant.

10 RepliesEdited by PushedBean764: 1/6/2016 11:25:51 PMIt grants a node on the Nightstalkers skill tree. So nope too bad. Anybody who wants this to happen should refrain from creating meaningless topics like this that Bungie won't pay any attention to. Edit- This goes for other pieces of gear too. Like with Khepri's Sting, where a certain person seems to be confused about it granting the Bladedancer node Stalker when it really doesn't. It's exotic perk has the same effect as the Stalker node (+ other effects) without actually "granting" the Stalker node, that's why it can be used on the other subclasses.

Meanwhile warlocks are asking to be nerfed
-
Please, stop just be content with what you have.
-
I think Twilight Garrison was a way for Bungie to grant Titans an aerial maneuver to give them something like a blink, but that wouldn't feel out of place for the class.
-
Like you said at the end... Blink and shadestep would be truly op... Titan chest is different, Titan don't have blink and nothing to evade and with shadestep you are running and evade if needed, with Titan you have to jump lol
-
3 RepliesWith this logic helm of inmost light should work on all classes as well as immolation fists, impossible machines, and many others
-
4 RepliesOf course it should. The ram is a Voidwalker specific but it still provides armour to Sunsingers and Stormcallers. So why doesn't graviton forfeit provide shadestep to the other hunter classes?
-
They should just replace a jump with shadestep. Instead of jumping twice or three times or blinking, you can only shadestep
-
4 RepliesKhepris sting worked on gunslinger, I don't see why graviton shouldn't.
-
Graviton gives you a nightstalker perk. Shadestep is only meant to be used with said subclass.
-
2 RepliesI think blink and shade step would make you a bit to slippery!
-
I have 2 hunters. This is dumb. I'll agree if it no longer disjoints firebolt, arc bolt, axiom bolt, skip grenades among a few other odd things. Give it 1-2 more seconds per cool down per charge. Still have two charges. Sure. Would make bladedance the go to. Imagine having to fight blink+shadestep+quickdraw. Sniper body shot shade step (switch to primary during shadestep) body shot again. That'd be pretty hard to deal with or catch.
-
lol no
-
Well, that's because not one Titan subclass has a specific evade like Twilight Garrison's, so it's for all classes. Shadestep is class-specific evade, so it only works for Nightstalkers. And as cool as it would be, it's too OP. But then again, Angel of Light is a Sunsinger exclusive thing, but any Titan could use it. Titans should be the one with the most armor, but the Ram could allow warlocks to have higher armor. Bones of Eao and Radiant Dance Machines increase movement for all Hunter subclasses.
-
Come on man.. you had to have seen that post a couple weeks ago about the dude comparing twilight garrison to graviton forfeit. Thousands of comments calling him an idiot because: A) they're not at all the same thing, as shadestep is an ability in the set subclass tree for Nightstalker only. B) "huntard" For the love of crap, learn from others mistakes and stop perpetuating the stereotype that hunters are scrubs/etc.
-
Buff blink since its been made useless compared to shade step and the TG
-
Difference is nightstalker is a class node, titan evade isn't. Blink and shadestep? NO. BAD. NO.
-
-
Also, it's only fair that Titans got an evade. Both warlocks and hunters have blink, which is a form of an evasion move.
-
Not only should it not be usable with the other subclasses, but I think is should only give you 1 shade step before cool down.
-
Blade dancers blinking and evading?!? Hell you wouldn't be able to touch them if they decide to run. Anyway, shade step is a subclass exclusive action. For Titans, evade isn't subclass exclusive.

1 ReplyI think the idea of exotics that apply to all subclasses is a nice idea, but it requires a fundamental reworking of subclasses. Maybe in Destiny 2. But now? Too much, especially given the Hunters overall agility. Could you imagine shade step with blink? Way too Hummingbird to adequately defend against.
