Got told that mida was a crutch by someone using tlw
He was also using the shadow of veils sniper. I personally think tlw is more crutch than mida. I will admit the person in question got some pretty sweet snipes on me though.
Am I wrong for thinking tlw is more crutch than mida? I'd like to know what your opinions are.

3 RepliesMidas balanced, it's just everything else has been nerfed into the the ground except scouts, snipers, and machine guns. This game has gone from being a good crucible meta (till vex showed up) and now it's just sit in the back of the map and camp with a sniper. I [i][b]HATE[/b][/i] those types of people.

The Mida has been the same gun since the beginning. Everything else getting worse doesn't automatically make Mida a crutch. It just means bungie needs to stop nerfing and start buffing.

3 RepliesPeople want to be able to take you head on and win every time. If they lose, then the weapon you are using is to OP and should be adjusted accordingly. Every weapon in this game can be outgunned if you Play to its strengths and adjust accordingly, even the Mida. You close the gap with an auto rifle before they start stinging you, you will absolutely eat them alive. Got a ton of kills during Iron banner with auto rifles .

3 RepliesNah... A crutch would slow you down. You see if I break me leg I need to use a crutch, but I walk slower. If I use crutches now, I'm still moving slower. So are they crutches if they are doing good, it's more like doing steroids.

Apparently no one knew MIDA existed before Y2. It's always been a great gun. The difference now is that the even better guns got worse and MIDA didn't. TLW is better than MIDA on some maps, but MIDA is better on others. Shadow of Veils? Now that's a crutch.

7 RepliesIf you're not very skilled at PvP, MIDA or TLW won't suddenly make you successful. If they did, THEN they'd be actual crutches. People really need to learn what the term means.
