Correction: The first weekly reset arrives at 1AM Pacific. Trials of Osiris will end at that time.

26 RepliesWhy are people raging so much at Cozmo and / or Bungie over this? Ok, Cozmo messed up by an hour, but he did correct his error. As for PSN being down this is nothing to do with Bungie. Before anyone goes off on one at me, I can assure I am disappointed about the lack of extension too. As a UK PS4 user I switched on last night, after putting my kids to bed and having dinner, to get my final two characters up to Rank 5 (had one rank 5, one rank 2.5 and the other yet to start), and was clearly unable to progress with PSN down. Yes - it would have been nice for Bungie to extend it (and indeed I commented somewhere asking for an extension), but in the end you have to respect their decision. If I didn't then I would be no better than my 6 year old daughter when she has a tantrum because I ask her not to do something.

10 RepliesIs it not possible to have a visible in-game countdown clock to the end of events like this? If someone takes part in the event, give them a quest for it, and for people who don't abandon/delete the quest, put up the days/hours/minutes left in the corner of the screen.

8 RepliesA proper way to end Iron Banner should be like this: *not allow anyone to start a new match of Iron Banner after the cut off time *allow matches that start after the cut off time to be finished (which this currently happens) *allow Saladin to stay in the tower a few minutes after the cut off time for last minute purchases and time for those who just completed their final match that finished after the cut off time If Xur stays 7 minutes after he is supposed to leave then so can Saladin. I finished my last match and got to rank five. I tried going to the tower to redeem rewards but Saladin was already gone.

3 RepliesYeah thanks, I play a match at 7:55 AM British time, hit rank 4, go to the tower at 8:05 and iron banner is gone. Late for work and no rank 4 package, absolute assholes

It’s a manual switch that we flip, so forgive the inexact estimate to account for the human element. The game, returning to original form, will be Control." The community was understanding about the late start or whatever - no big deal. BUNGIE couldn't leave it on for a little extra time ? It looks they didn't take into account the human element that hacked PSN and left many human element Iron Banner players in the cold. Oh and that's besides the "you had forever to rank up!" Oh and: "I leveled up 3 characters the first day!" By the way, I am living with it. Just saying...

7 RepliesQuick disclaimer: I don't actually give a shit about the reset time. All my characters were at rank 5 by Thursday and, frankly, there isn't much incentive to play after that. This post is about principle, a commodity in which it would appear Bungie is sorely lacking. The link I provided is to the official Bungie help page. Here it is again, just in case: https://www.bungie.net/en/help/article/12208. The information on that page agrees with Cozmo's original forum post. To wit, Iron Banner will end (as it always has) at the weekly reset - 1a.m. PST. Only recently has IB started ending an hour [i]before[/i] the reset, for some unknown reason. Now, like I said, I really couldn't care less. But if it's going to end at midnight [i]maybe[/i] you should think about updating your website to reflect the change. You [i]could[/i] even go so far as to explain said change to your players, ya know, so they don't get a funny feeling that you're screwing them out of an hour of content just for shits and giggles. Additionally, and before I even suggest it I know it won't happen, you should probably get your official Bungie retard-o-matic (i.e. Cozmo) to put out accurate information [i]the first time[/i] AND, just as importantly, [i]not on Twitter[/i].
