Why do we continue to deny that Mida is OP
Seriously....? It's an easy to use weapon and nearly everyone uses it. Keep getting killed by it. I can barely compete against it. Plus, If you look at most "what weapon are you using this whatever" Kind of post, it's either the most or second most option picked. It's not overused guys.... It is OP.
EDIT: ALOT of you are saying because the other weapons were nerfed, Mida is balanced and is the best choice. Where's the logic in that?
Edit 2: I have collected a lot of tears... my job is done.

It is the only balanced weapon in the game. Some bungie employee said in an interview (i think with planet destiny) that the mida is one of few only good balanced weapons, and that is what makes it strong.

2 RepliesSince this thread has no substance, I'm gonna post a recipe for apple turnovers. Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup cold butter divided, 1/4 cup ice water. FILLING: 1/3 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons cornstarch,1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 medium tart apples, peeled and thinly sliced, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 2 tablespoons beaten egg, 1-1/2 teaspoons water. GLAZE:1/4 cup confectioners' sugar, 1 teaspoon water. Directions: In a small bowl, combine flour and salt; cut in 1/4 cup butter until crumbly. Gradually add water, tossing with a fork until a ball forms. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 12-in. x 6-in. rectangle. Cut remaining butter into thin slices. Starting at a short side of dough, arrange half of the butter slices over two-thirds of rectangle to within 1/2 in. of edges. Fold unbuttered third of dough over middle third. Fold remaining third over the middle, forming a 6-in. x 4-in. rectangle. Roll dough into a 12-in. x 6-in. rectangle. Repeat steps of butter layering and dough folding, ending with a 6-in. x 4-in. rectangle. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate for 15 minutes. Roll dough into a 12-in. x 6-in. rectangle. Fold in half lengthwise and then widthwise. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate for 1 hour. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Add apples and lemon juice; toss to coat. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5-10 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring often. Remove from the heat. In a small bowl, combine egg and water. Roll dough into a 12-in. square; cut into four squares. Brush with half of the egg mixture. Spoon about 1/4 cup filling on half of each square; fold dough over filling. Press edges with a fork to seal. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush with remaining egg mixture. With a sharp knife, cut three small slits in the top of each turnover. Bake at 450° for 17-22 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to a wire rack. Combine glaze ingredients; drizzle over turnovers. Serve warm.Yield: 4 servings.

Easy to use =/= overpowered It is easier to ride a bycicle than ride a car because it is one of the first transportation ways you learn to do (besides crawling and walking). It is easier to aim and shoot (what the mida's only purpose is) rather than play with some crazy perk that needs you to change your playstyle (tlw hipfire only, hardlight no damage drop-off, surps spinning up etc.) Because you first learn to shoot and aim, and after that you learn to play with different playstyles Everyone uses it =/= overpowered Everyone uses it = over[u]used[/u] Over[u]used[/u] =/= over[u]powered[/u]

I believe it has something to do with a hidden perk - stagger. At least that's what I know about it from year 1.

Ha, it kills in 4 shots, that's SO OP, it's not like practically every Scout Rifle in the game can do that, noooooooooooo.

Did Xur just sell it again? Did he do this because Banner was around the corner? Has the gun really changed from year one? Did you give the gun time to realize how amazing it was in year one? These are the questions you need to ask. The gun was always amazing. It's always been balanced. It's always been one of the top primary exotics. And it's always murdered people in PVP. I don't see how people suddenly have a negative opinion about this weapon.

You have summoned me, and in all seriousness, I can counter Mida with almost anything, except snipers because I have shitty aim.

I'm not gonna deny a lot of people use mida, but for 6v6 it's to hectic for it to have any affect. Most pulse and auto rifles will surpass it at close range and TLW rips it apart. At long distances it does what its meant to do. I expected IB to be worse and be a mida big orgy (see what I did there?) But turns out after Wednesday no one's been using it. Trials on the other hand has turned into a snipe fest beyond all belief.

Any weapon that is used correctly will seem that way. For instance a regular shotgun VS exotic invective. You don't go rushing that person for obvious reasons. So don't stand still and let someone with a scout rifle shoot you. You need to be buffed is all.

3 RepliesIf one or two people use it then it's ok. If a whole team uses it then it's going to show up on your kill feed a lot. Same as Suros, Thorn, Mythoclast, TLW etc. It's going to be interesting when the Thorn comes back from Xur for year two.

It really isn't. Use hardlight, I've been using it and no I'm not a pro at crucible but Ive been doing consistently better since using it.

It's the same as it has always been, dummy. It was just overshadowed by all the other stronger stuff until they nerfed them.

Stfu already the vets here are tired of people whining on a nerf of weapons. All of year one people whined about Thorn. then whined about not getting a Ghorn. Then whined about AR's that got nerfed to hell. Then whined about Thorn somemore. Now everyone whining about Mida which a great weapon in Crucible in year one. But no one noticed do to Thorn and Red Death. Oh which I forgot they whined about Red Death. This is a game. One weapon will always be a stand out weapon for many players. I get killed alot with my Mida by hand cannons and by some faster AR's which piss me off. But I play and continue when I can to blast in the face with my shotgun. Especially with my Titan. Hit the glide and blast the face. Got to love it!!
